Hi everyone.
Multiplication, though it is one of the basic operations, can be a bit tricky; hence I would like to share some methods that can be useful when working out multiplication problems without using a calculator.
- Grid Method
Expand the numbers. For example 23 becomes 20 and 3
Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Step 4:

Step 5:

- Grid Method (diagonal)
Write each digit individually. For example 43 becomes 4 3.
Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:
Multiply the digits (for example 6 times 7) and write the product down but the numbers are separated by a diagonal line (for example 4/2)

Step 4:

Step 5:
Add the numbers that belong to the same diagonal group starting from the right most part of the grid

Step 6:

Step 7:

- Extended Vertical Method
Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Step 4:

Step 5:

- Compact Standard Multiplication
Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Step 4:

Step 5:

You should consider doing videos for these, better way of covering the content in my opinion.
