Good day y'all , was casually browsing Med-Hive posts and stumble on this particular post [ https://peakd.com/hive-119670/@med-hive/med-hive-montly-prompt-or-august-your-covid-19-story ] which interest me. Was in the process on archiving some readings on this subject, so might as well share some cherry picked information that I deemed useful for MY personal reading.

Be warn: My English is bad .😗, I like banana & palak paneer on my Pizza

DISCLAIMER

I am not a medical practitioner nor do I choose sides on 💉 or non 💉. This is my personal experience/reading and is ADVISABLE not be used as guidance. Always seek medical advisor or do (further reading x2) , as different pizza making/toppings has different outcomes.

BRIEF Start Yr 2020

Shortly after New Year 2020, news of this A virus appeared and ( this article) I happened to stumble . Lockdown began certain part of my country at around this time (My reference time) than a month later the whole country started lockdowns. During the time little was known about the virus besides

The virus causes severe acute respiratory infection and symptoms usually start with a fever, followed by a dry cough. Most of those killed have been over the age of 60 or have suffered from other medical conditions.<unknown sauce>

Later our country issued a definition for person suspected of virus A and management like hand wash, distance yourself 1 or 2 meter away. ( which later became a topic of discussion whether it's sufficient )

A person with fever AND clinical sign/symptoms suggestive of pneumonia OR respiratory infection with breathlessness AND had history of travel to or reside in Mainland China within the last 14 days; OR close contact with a confirmed case of 2019-nCoV while that patient was ill.

March 11 — WHO Declares COVID-19 a Pandemic

In declaring COVID-19 a pandemic, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of WHO, said at a briefing in Geneva the agency is “deeply concerned by the alarming levels of spread and severity” of the outbreak. He also expressed concern about “the alarming levels of inaction.”

APRIL - AUGUST 2020

During 1st round of lock down, I remember most time was trying to gather toilet rolls and masks ( usd 0.50 per mask), seeing empty streets, getting hotel room for my online tournament and reading/ understanding what is a virus. [ Had this idea that virus was electro charge and is airborne] Also that time , introduction of testing was in question ( whether PCR or ANTIBODy tests were more accurate) along with questionable reporting of infected/death from this A virus [backlog, asymptomatic not tested, lack of test kit, contact tracing wasn't available ].https://ourworldindata.org/covid-sources-comparison

World wide cases of virus A spreading has doubled at this time, South Asia were slowing creeping with cases. In an ongoing pandemic mortality risk can't be calculated as there are infected patients who will die later

July 9 — WHO Announces COVID-19 Can Be Airborne

WHO announces that the novel coronavirus can be transmitted through the air after more than 200 scientists sign a letter urging the agency to revise its recommendations. In an updated scientific brief, WHO notes that the virus may linger in the air in crowded indoor spaces and emphasizes that the virus may be spread by asymptomatic individuals.

SEP - DEC 2020

End of August or early September another surge in cases and lockdown was again issued. It was during these time I started exploring more on virus and curious on what is the size of this A virus. Also recalled people still debating whether it's airborne and definition of airborne

During the same time, hospitals in my area were experiencing lack of oxygen tank supply and ventilators , some reports of people needing to acquire own oxygen tanks/ supply . I had to look up for making oxygen on internet incase I wasn't so lucky; managed to get hold some hydrogen peroxide for disinfect usage. News of toilet transmission in other parts of world emerge (reading 1) (reading 2) and sewage testing was implemented at certain country . ( sewage 1 ) ( sewage 2)

Thanks for this post. You made your post a collection of many readable pages and although not all of them have been read, we would have loved it more to know how you coped during those time.
This is also a beautiful post and many will find gleaning through a bliss.

Thanks for commenting, as mentioned above; I am in the process of archiving some readings incase my phone breaks down and I need to search those reading materials from scratch. Once I finished archiving 2021-2022 reading, probably will write the experience how some broke the Hippocrates oath , internet censorship on 🐴 paste , segregation btw 💉 and non 💉 , NAC available again on amazon and etc.... stay tuned, till then cya when I cya
