The main stream media has been filled with stories regarding the current situation within the middle east. There is the prevalent narrative that Assad is an evil dictating tyrant, that uses chemical weapons, and starves his people into submission. However, why is it the case that so many important questions are ignored.
Allot of unfounded allegations that when you look for evidence, the source is obscure, usually conjecture and propaganda.
They seem to have ignored the issue of Assad being democratically elected in 2014. In an election independently monitored by over a dozen independent international states, the first of its kind. Potentially the most democratic election in recorded human history (I've checked the books and there has never been an election where more than a dozen independent states have access and regulate another countries election). Where a record turn out and a unanimous decision was made. [1]
Shouldn't the Syrian people be allowed self determination, freedom of rule and liberty?
The question remains. What are these allegations based on? As a UN recognized leader of a free country would you allow the UN free access to everywhere to look for chemical weapons if you had used them?
Well Assad did [2], and not only him, but when faced with allegations of WMD's Saddam Hussein also allowed UN inspections before the Iraq War in 2003. And were any WMD's found? Nope. None. At the cost of 1.3 million Iraq's (conservative estimate) and billions of tax payer dollars.
What about the fact that Assad supports and houses 6.6 million refugees? Is saving 6.6 million people displaced by terrorists bad? [3]
The main stream media are failing in their duty to inform the public on global events. Will we learn from the past, where countless 100's of thousands of innocent lives are lost, in Iraq and Libya where hundreds of thousands of lives are lost?

Regardless of the motives of other countries leaders. ANYONE who believes the USA main stream media, I actually feel sorry for. The people here in the USA just don't know any better, it is what they have been told all their lives. Those of us who have followed the money, believe what you are saying. The US government has shown NO evidence for ANY of their accusations, PERIOD.
I agree with you. I feel as if main stream journalism has been contrived into a tool for propaganda. Kennedy warned about this before he died.
