Woman Tries Home Filler Procedure and Is Left with Huge Sausage Lips Instead.

In today’s world where women are highly influenced by social media and wanting to look good, it’s always a risk having cosmetic surgery. Anything can go wrong at any time. This is why one shouldn’t never try and go beyond their looks. If you look good, why spoil it for something that may look bizarre or may not turn out right. It’s a waste of money, time and an ordeal to your body. One mother of two learnt the hard way and her story was spread across the internet becoming known as the woman with sausage lips. This is what happened to Christina Burton, 29 who also had to be hospitalized because of her swollen lips.

1-She thought she was about to have dermal fillers, instead she ended up in hospital
Christina Burton is just 29 and a mother of two. Within a few hours of a home procedure for a lip filling that cost 75 pounds, something began going terribly wrong. Her lips began swelling and even her throated began to close. She says her lip fillers left her with sausage lips after it gave her a serious side reaction. She ended up in hospital needing emergency treatment.

2-A horrible reaction
The mother of two who lives in Wythenshawe in Greater Manchester was so badly affected that she had to be administered adrenaline, oxygen and steroids to fight the horrible reaction. Christina said she felt that something was painfully wrong immediately after the beautician gave her some numbing cream and was reassured about the reaction that it was normal but that wasn’t the case.

3-Her lips kept getting bigger
Within a few hours of applying just 1 ml of filler in her lips, she said that it started swelling immediately and the pain became unbearable. Ultimately an ambulance had to be called. Christina said it was like a duck gone wrong and it seemed that she had sausages on her face. “My lips kept getting bigger and bigger and more painful. I thought my lips were going to explode, the pain was unreal.

4-Nothing was working
She tried painkillers and antihistamines for the swelling and even putting an ice pack but everything went out of control. ““As soon as they put the cream on I just knew something wasn’t right, my lips were tingling and felt like they were swelling up straight away.

She explained that the numbing cream made her feel like it had swollen and numb. She said she felt like something wasn’t right because her lips were swelling immediately and it became very painful which was never the case with her.
