I am sure 99% of the people you tag don't want to be tagged. Do you have any idea how annoying that would get if everyone tagged people in their posts? So many people spend a lot of time on their posts and want people to see them.
Good thing not everyone thinks to do this then.
Again if you find it annoying I definitely won't tag you anymore.
I have actually had people (such as friends on #sportstalk) tell me they enjoy being notified when my posts go live because they enjoy them. Everyone is different, obviously you do not roll that way. It's fine.
