Silence is a still papyrus
that our souls etch adventures on.

Our hearts, nomadic birds
through the desert of mortality

That trace their rosy wingpaths
Through cerulean and jade.

What comes before and after anything? We are surrounded by noise in modern life. However, if we inquire deeply enough, we find that noise is actually the background for silence. Silence is the deafening presence: the inaudible roar of infinity.

We do not always need lengthy dissertations to incline us to feel and notice the subtleties of our existence. Perhaps these are effective when the mind is in a state of agitation, to invoke a sympathetic resonance with our preferred manner of processing.

.
When art becomes an aid to meditation, we enter it as a smooth vignette from a place of quietude. It paints a fleeting image, strikes a particular chord, serves us a peculiar flavor. Then, it is gone, and we return to the quintessential respite that is our original being.

This is a complete and profound poetry that gives direction to our lives.
