Breathe...

in #meditation5 years ago

We are the everything and the nothing.
We are waves of energy seemingly without form while also expressed as physical particles of reality.
The illusion that "I" exist separate from the everything is so persistent as to be almost inescapable.
Information has been communicated that a sense of "self" can be completely lost.
This state of connectedness, it is said, is more true than our duality.
This state of abiding non-duality, a place of completeness and flow, is there always.
We simply ignore it, preferring our story, our lives, our expectations, desires, and functions.
There is no good and evil if all simply is.
Evil is the balancing force, like a swing of the pendulum.
Even as we adjust our scales towards increased wellbeing and change our expectations, our measure of evil will change.
It will always be there, balancing out the equation.
The beauty of the equation is it can trend towards something beautiful, even as it oscillates back and forth in a wave pattern.
Authority and control.
Autonomy and freedom.
Struggle is an illusion, just as the reward for overcoming it.
To know ourselves is to know our connections to everyone else and the connections they have to others.
Peace is right now, in this very moment.
It's the space between breaths.
The moment of inhale.
The moment of exhale.
Now exists.
The previous breath was a memory and the next breath is unknown.
Breathe.
Breathe deeply, starting with the belly and working up to the center into the chest.
That is the closest to truth we may discover.
And yet... we can go deeper.
There are mysteries, adventures, challenges, and quests to entertain, enlighten, and bring growth.

That reads like a guided meditation. I'm guessing that meditation is the inspiration? Sounds like the inner movement of the mind. It's a nice piece of poetry overall. I'm digging the good vibes :)

Thank you. :)

I don't write poetry much at all, but these were the thoughts in my head today so I let them come out.

Put it on tape and spread it to use at meditation....

.... somebody will add music!
