Eat your empty plate. Joke aside, all the current so-called democratic and capitalistic countries ARE socialists themselves, the USA is no exception, they just like to bash on socialism because of the anti-communist era heritage.

Democracies/capitalist countries have social programs.
I dont think they are independtly exlcusive items.... but more like competing ideologies of personal resources
China has proven to be THE biggest capitalistic country of the 21st century! If Mao was still alive, he would burn all the leaders of the "communist" party 😂
It has been my experience when people complain about socialism, most of the time the complaint is about the authoritarian rule of the government.
I hear little complaining about the idea
Of equality or food or educational equality.
The next biggest complaint is scarcity
Such as food shortages.
But what is the capitalist system if it's not authoritarian.
You have your boss and you have the workers.
One of these people has power over the other.
In a socialist system if there are adequate supplies of food there is no shortage.
Under capitalism there is always a shortage of food even if there's enough food for everybody. An artificial shortage is created by price, people with out money cannot pay the price for the food. This is why people are starving in the richest country in the world.
