2010 was 8 years ago. 8 years ago is a long time in my book, and I'm 40 years old. 1964 was a really long time ago. Hillary Clinton was only 17 years old, and you and weren't even born yet. Your claim that "Hillary openly supported him before he recanted his past" is a total lie. Robert Byrd has a lifetime NAACP score of 82%. You will have a very difficult time finding any Republican with a score that high.
You want examples of Trump's racism? Seriously? You can't just Google this shit? You don't have any friends or family explaining this shit to you? How about the birther movement? Did anybody ever explain to you that Trump accused President Obama of not being a real American, even though he had no evidence to prove such a claim? Has anyone explained his racist and discriminatory immigration policies to you? Has anyone brought it to your attention that he paid out a multi-million dollar settlement when he was caught discriminating against black tenants? How about the time he called African and South American countries "shithole countries", and then asked why we can't get more people to immigrate from Norway? How about the time he referred to white supremacists and Nazis marching in Charlottesville as "very fine people". These are just a few instances I can think of off the top of my head. I would keep going, if I thought it would do any good.
If there are racists in the police force, that's systemic oppression. It isn't one isolated incident. It is a widespread pattern of behavior. Look at the figures on incarceration and use of force on minorities. Look at how our drug laws, which are racist in origin, are enforced selectively against minorities. Open your eyes.
Neo means new. Con is short for conservative. A long time ago, conservatives actually cared about conserving things. That is no longer the case, so I choose to call all modern prominent Republicans neocons, because that is what they are. They are con artists, and the only thing they are conserving is white supremacy and corporate power.
I'm a veteran. I have seen Democrats negotiate peace, and I have seen Republicans make utterly disastrous foreign policy blunders. When it comes to foreign policy, I'm more of a Dennis Kucinich/Ron Paul type of guy. I will admit, I'm not totally happy with Obama's foreign policy decisions, but they are far preferable to the lunatic cowboy act we get from Republicans. I don't read intelligence briefings from the Pentagon, so I'm not going to pretend like I know what I'm talking about there. (Trump has access, but according to inside sources, he doesn't read them either.) What I do know, is that we see fewer casualties of war worldwide under Democrats. Under Democratic administrations, we see more competent diplomacy, and less wars based on lies.
The casualties are coming in faster than ever. Not only from battlefields overseas, but also from concerts, classrooms, and protests. For the love of God, open your fucking eyes. Your brothers and sisters are dying.
