RE: 9-gag meme dump!

Adults at that time would assume that this music was a sign of violence or satanism and one day I actually came home to find my parents digging through my CD collection and reading the lyrics.

I remember back in the 80s my parents had me scared of these guys that used to hang out in a clearing in a cornfield near where I lived. They said they were all worshipping the devil and sacrificing animals in a bonfire. When you would walk down the the country road nearby at night time, you could hear the 'devil music' playing far off, and see the light from the fire. I used to panic and walk super fast to get past.

One day me and my friend Kenny were walking by and decided to sneak over there. We tried to hide in some corn, but when we got close some dudes saw us and invited us in. It was literally just a bunch of older teens making out and listening to heavy metal while cooking food on a large fire. That was one of the most fun nights of my life. haha!

that's a great story haha. I think that most of the time people are afraid of things they do not understand. I would be willing to bet that as I get older I will do the same. I'll have to try to not become a grumpy old man as the years creep up on me.

Interestingly, as I get older I become more open minded. But I have to admit, I do tent to get more annoyed with young people who behave similar to myself at that age. It feels paradoxical, since I should understand how they feel. I wonder what a psychologist would say about that.....

I try to sympathize with young people "being young" because yes, we were all like that at one point but sometimes it gets to be a bit much and I get angry. I don't think a psychologist would have a lot to say about it because I would imagine that it is extremely common and almost everyone is like that. :)
