I think so, yeah. I think it's something to do with stepping out of routine, maybe? Since I know my routines at home, I can't see where in said routine there'd be space for something unusual or extraordinary. But when you're on the road, everything's unknown and unusual.
Or maybe it's just that traveling is magic and we should try to hold on to as much of it as we can? :D
That's totally it for me, seeing a new place with new eyes puts everything in a different/euphoric light. : ) I suppose when we're traveling we're also acutely aware of our limited time.
