• A Brief History
In the late 19th century and early 20th century the baggy pants that went below the knee were referred to as ‘knickerbockers’, the short, tight and fit trousers that stayed above the knee were referred to as ‘knee pants’. These 2 varieties of undergarments were used in many school’s uniforms (official and unofficial) as men’s sheer underwear. But the adults did not start to wear shorts or wear men’s boxer briefs until the late after World War II.
During the World War II, soldiers were ordered to wear men’s comfortable underwear so that they won’t get irritated while all the war was going on and the shorts were a pretty good way to ration the already scarce cloth.
In the post-war era; the shorts and men’s boxers made in the USA were used in sports but they still weren’t a fashion item which could be worn apart from some sports activities. The people who played tennis used to wear shorts while playing but afterward the players used to change into their pants (before getting out to socializing).
Shorts and men’s pouch underwear were not comfortable everyday wear for men until the late 1950s and even after that only renowned people and trendsetters like celebrities and sportsmen used to wear them. It took shorts to become normal a very long time, however; they were normal dressing code for young boys.

• When you Can Wear your Shorts
Today, the shorts aren’t a taboo anymore and are normal everyday wear for men. But still, the question of when is the right time to wear shorts arises and some men are still looking for the answer to this question; except the answer to this question is very simple:
You can wear your shorts or men’s trunks when the temperate is hot; the environment is lively and according to your location. You just shouldn’t wear your shorts only when you are not attending to your job or business or when you don’t have to go to any formal gathering, other than that you can wear shorts pretty much all the time.
Beach and poolside parties, outdoor gatherings, private and informal events, outing with friends, sports and recreational activities, traveling adventure, movie night in summers are all the occasions on which you can easily wear shorts and look hot too.
But off course, you can’t wear shorts when you have a meeting with your boss (unless you are the boss and don’t have any problem about what others might think) or you can’t wear shorts to your office’s formal dinner because that would be super awkward or maybe wearing shorts at a game of golf with your boss is also not a good idea.
• How to Wear your Shorts like a Pro?
When you have to wear shorts or men’s mesh underwear you have a lot of questions like how to wear them, which style of shorts to wear or which shirt and hoes to match with our shorts.
But let’s start with how long should your shorts should be: your shorts should be one inch above your knees or just over it (a bit). All the shorts that go beyond your knees aren’t really shorts, they are a totally different thing altogether.
How loose should be your shorts? Well, that depends on your choice, you can either buy very loose shorts or a very tight one. Tighter shorts make you look smart and the baggy ones are more comfortable. You can wear the baggy shorts at home to be at ease and the fit and tighter ones when you have to go out for any occasion.
• What Style of Shorts you Choose from?
There are different shorts and men’s separate pouch underwear for different occasions; there are sports shorts, swimming shorts, formal shorts, beach shorts, funky shorts, cargo shorts and much more. Some shorts also have pockets and other is just pain shorts.
Shorts also have a variety of different colors you can choose from like white, olive, light blue, khaki and black which are normal colors and yellow, red, green and pink are bold and rare colors. You can also wear a belt with your formal shorts to look more sophisticated and classy.
