Blockchain gaming and the metaverse go together like peanut butter and jelly. And the RFOX VALT metaverse is adding a heaping helping of NFTs to its fun sandwich.
Before the metaverse idea was on team RFOX’s radar, they created KOGs NFTs under the banner of RFOX Games. These collectible beauties have been live on the WAX blockchain since 2020 and now trade on AtomicHub.
But KOGs the game has long been a twinkle in the team’s eye. Keys to Other Games will soon become interoperable across a series of mobile blockchain-powered titles.
With the announcement of being able to pre-register for KOGs: SLAM! via an RFOX ID account, we’re moving one step closer to a public beta release of the world’s first mobile game to compute all of its logic on a blockchain network!

If you are from those countries, make sure to secure your spot for our upcoming beta for the next big NFT game here. We will roll out pre-registration to more countries in the coming days.
For iOS users, Apple is taking their sweet time reviewing the app, so watch out for further announcements on when they will release the game for pre-registration.”
Unsurprisingly, those with Apple devices will have to wait the longest. The Apple App Store approval process is the slowest in all of mobile gaming.
But there’s still plenty of RFOX ecosystem action while we wait:
- Shortly after partnering with ICON, the RFOX CEO attended an interview in which he dove deep into what makes RFOX so successful.
- RFOX Media has a new General Manager, hiring the highly experienced Maria Java to fill the role.
- RFOX Media also has more Ready Player One-style metaverse content coming out of its in-house RFOX Academy.
- In only one week, the KOGs Mint Lab helped Bored Ape Yacht Club members earn $38,000 by minting Bored Ape KOGs.
How’s that for growth? RFOX is absolutely killing it these days! The token price has risen above $0.20 US for the first time in forever. With all the metaverse hype in the space these days, especially surrounding The Sandbox and Decentraland, RFOX is bound to rise up with the rest.
A new Hacker Noon article covers each of the 3 metaverses — Sandbox + Decentraland + RFOX VALT. What’s interesting is that although the VALT is the only metaverse offering with V.R., it’s also the only 1 of the 3 that have yet to see explosive growth in the token price.
Will $RFOX token hit $1 in December? Will $VFOX reach $10? I like our chances with the VALT’s MVP due next month, coupled with the gaming quarter’s pending SHOP auction. But what the hell do I know?
