This is my first post in a series of common knowledge in the upcomming Metaverse called Earth2. Correct adress earth2.io
For those of you not quite familiar with the project, it launched as "just an idea" about 2 years ago.
The founders wanted to make a long term commitment to making a metaverse based on more or less correct earth data, to give the user an experience of "comming home" because in the future of different metaverses -->THE METAVERSE would be earth2
They started out by dividing up earth2 in plots of 10x10m auctioning plot of with the price of the plots increasing according to the popularity of buys.
It went off the charts popular over night and the initial site crashed multiple time over several months.
The opinions on earth2 as good or scam bad are all out there. Nevertheless I think the project is cool and I understand the founder Shane Issac that these things take time to long tern think through.. so if you want more of this let me know
