Q: Youve had major successes in your life from helping to put two elements on the Periodic Table to being celebrated as one of the top investors in stocks in the US in the book Conversations with Top Traders to publishing a bestseller for Wiley & Sons to being the top draw at The Money Show in Las Vegas. Your PhD in the nuclear sciences from UC Berkeley and your early years as a concert pianist from age 5 to 12 gave you the mental tools to deal with the sometimes deep challenges of life. Singularly, you’ve been down some nasty rabbit holes from one false accusation to being ransomwared to having your identity stolen to attempted extortions to being target hacked twice by top black ops (operations) hired hackers.
A: Yes, some have said I’m the poster boy for injustices lol. I’ve always been iconoclastic and disruptive when I see something that is off. Why not transform it so everyone benefits? Sometimes transformation means tearing the whole thing down.
When it comes to corrupt governments, this does not win me many friends who sit in positions of power. Some close friends have said I should just stop poking the bear. But must be the example I wish to see in others.
When things are so off as they are in the world today, more people want change. I advocate peaceful resolution via technology and spirituality. Revolution is not always necessary. My distant relative Ryoma Sakamoto reformed Japan in the 19th century by bring in the New Meiji era. Sakamoto fought for personal and economic freedoms. I discuss in my book how the decentralization of outdated legacy old school systems promotes peace. En route to Geneva’s WealthTech convention in 2017, a particular country’s police [my note: I intentionally omitted for my own safety as I have no wish to name names and have no ill will towards anyone] boarded my plane and arrested me telling me I would not be giving my highly controversial keynote speech (about how bitcoin was going to destroy corrupt governments). Upon turning over my electronics, illegal files were planted on my devices as forensics eventually discovered. During this ordeal, there were multiple attempts on my life. One wise person asked me who in power I had angered because he knew this was not normal treatment. Intelligence told me that someone involved in some unrelated deal between and said I had to be given my freedom or the deal would not go through. To this day, I have no idea who stuck up for me, or why but it does seem as if I was given immunity of some sort as I have never had any issue traveling into since then. Prosecution closed the case and I was set free, once again untarnished with a clean record.
But since then, I amend what I said about bitcoin destroying governments and instead say that bitcoin will transform governments into decentralized platforms that benefit the majority. As Jason Lowery of MIT discovered, bitcoin doesn’t just decentralize money which separates money from state (akin to separation of church and state) but also will prevent future global war as more value accrues in the digital space. You can’t bomb bitcoin but you can print money which sinks fiat thus explains the soaring social unrest and populism seen in the world today. Bitcoin is the magna carta of code.
Q: You’ve been nearly zeroed out financially four times due to exogenous circumstances but each time you were able to make back fortunes.
A: Trading stocks and crypto has always been my lifeline. My first financial rape and wake up call came in the early 2000s after I had appeared in the book Conversations with Top Traders as having the top track record in stocks in the US. I had come from academia then became a celebrated investor so was quite naive. A teen presenting himself as a student from UCLA contacted me online, was highly intelligent, and we started hanging out. He stood almost my height, my friends liked him, his mother liked me and my friends, and would often have me over to dinner to meet her and her son’s friends. I soon realised that this teen wasn’t 18 but 14 but by then we were all friends and the teen was gifted so we bonded. I got him to take an HIV test because he was having unprotected sex with both males and females. He had a huge ego because he knew he could have anyone he wanted. Cultural narrative would wrongly claim he was abused because he was only 14 but in reality, he was the abuser as 16 victims came forward to write witness statements against him. At any rate, his friends were shocked he got tested then he was relieved when he tested negative. Over the ensuing months, his grades even improved.
Meanwhile I had no idea this corrupt family was using their underage son armed with a fake ID saying he was a student at UCLA to continue to entrap then blackmail adults for money. Among our group, the teen would playfully wrestle then make unwanted sexual contact with the adult. I later learned that the mother threatened one individual who actually had had sex with the teen that she would go to the police unless the adult paid, so the adult never told anyone about this until well after my nightmare started. When the mother falsely accused me months later, I was in shock then told her to F off. Next thing I knew an official called me and told me he could make this go away for a price but I said the same thing to the official.
When it was clear I had made several million after taxes in the dot-com boom, charges were filed against me and this endless nightmare began. The amount of prosecutorial misconduct was staggering from witness tampering to suppression of evidence of sexual assault committed by the teen. We got 16 witnesses to come forward and write statements against the teen’s sexual assault. I was going to sue the city for many millions so, to prevent this from happening and to protect their own corrupt officials, I was given a choice- plea to an unrelated non-sexual charge which would be dismissed and my criminal record would remain clean, or go to trial which is a roll of the dice. I realised I could get on with my life untarnished so I could go on to run hedge funds, get any needed licensing, and get a visa to live abroad. So I agreed but was left with the deepest sense of injustice.
Meanwhile in 2003, to prevent me from suing the city, a writer was paid under the table to write a slanderous piece on me. The piece does correctly mention I would not have to register as a sex offender which is unheard of had I actually committed such a crime. But it incorrectly says I was put on probation as I was able to immediately travel and live on a visa in Switzerland to launch and run a regulated hedge fund because my criminal record remained clean. With probation, you can’t leave the US and must regularly report to a probation officer. I always try to make peace and bring out the best in others. I can understand why they are harsh but the teen was not the monster he was made out to be. Instead, he was actually amazingly talented.
He was like my friend Anti here in Tallinn, Estonia. When Anti was underage a couple years ago, he would grab a female's breasts or a male's crotch, or slap people hard on the butt. He was banned from Evolution and other places. I always stuck up for Anti because I knew he didn't mean anything by it, but could also understand why others were offended. Now, Anti has grown into a respectable young man. He appreciates that I always defended him. While today's world would say Anti committed sexual assault on others, the context and spirit of the law must be taken into account. Anti was just acting in a rough, playful manner and would never harm anyone. But people are far less forgiving in today's world. While I dont condone Anti's earlier behavior, I am happy to say people are forgiving and he has been forgiven and accepted back into social circles.
A good friend asked why I would risk being around someone underage who is acting like the earlier accuser of the early 2000s. I said I remain unjaded, loving, and forgiving. I am not going to be a hypocrite and discriminate based on age. In consequence, I have a friend for life in Anti.
The second time I was financially raped came when my 289,000 ethereum (avg cost 0.68), 50 million dogecoin, and other coins were black ops hacked from an exchange in late 2015. I had not looked at my crypto holdings in months because the market had been stale in 2014-2015, but when I later saw the value of my ETH had skyrocketed by 2016, I tried to move some of my coins from the exchange but it was too late. My crypto holdings were zeroed out. My external wallets such as my ripple wallets were also target hacked. The exchange was taken down and the exchange operator who was framed was blamed for embezzling the funds and eventually killed. I hired a top legal team that specialises in hacks. They investigated the hack then asked who I was because they said this was not normal but a black ops hack that is orchestrated by the government.
The third time I was financially raped was when I was en route to Geneva’s WealthTech convention in 2017 as I mentioned earlier. The legal fees to prove my innocence that files had been planted on my devices were staggering.
The fourth time was when a well known writer from the oldest cryptocurrency publication asked me to do a lengthy three part interview. I had done these types of interviews hundreds of times, usually stock-related, so agreed not suspecting anything. But so far in 2025, crypto crimes and crypto whale kidnappings are at all time highs so some high level hacker infected the journalist’s computer so he could then infect mine during our screen sharing interview. The hacker drained my wallets, my hyperliquid funds, stole my identity, planted illegal files, ransomwared me which I refused so he went to officials, attacked my accounts, voice spoofed me to get through my bank’s security, and used AI to create images and videos of me and others. The hacker is what my ex-wife's relative who has more power and money than God would hire for millions to take down enemies. A false timeline that depicts money laundering, human trafficking, drug dealing, or illegal images is implanted on the victim's computer typically over a period of weeks, then a call is made to authorities. The victim's computer is taken and forensics have a nearly impossible time trying to prove the victim's innocence.
Q: On top of everything, you face the loss of your property due to unconstitutional court rulings where an equity investor who knew the risks won a judgement against your property. And another who expected his money to be invested in one area found it was invested in another area so hired a lawyer.
A: Both investors’ money are still of value as we grow our company. In fact, both have increased in value but are illiquid at present. The capital is being used for our monthly burn rate so we can secure additional deals. Such is the nature of startups.
Our lawyer says the first investor has no case so will seek to reverse the court’s ruling, otherwise it sets a legal precedence that makes all startup founders financially liable which defeats the purpose of limited liability for startup founders!
As for the second investor, I had taken seriously ill for the first time in my life after not having even one sick day in 17 years, a streak broken by Covid which was like a mild 4-day flu. A freak situation potentially due to being forced to get a Covid vaccine nearly cost me my life, or at least severe brain damage should have resulted. Instead, I had an overnight miracle cure. I discuss it fully in my latest book.
During the time I was in bed, the other co-founder invested the money in an area that he said was within the contractual agreement, but the investor was angry because I had told him before he invested with us that I would invest it in traditional, liquid digital assets. But the market wasn’t right so his investment remained in cash. I then became ill and because our company had to make critical legal payments in our attempts over a two year period to get regulated, the other co-founder used this investor’s money to invest in our company’s digital asset which was within contractual agreement. Nevertheless it sparked an attempted lawsuit which went nowhere because of the solidity of the contractual agreement showing the other co-founder did nothing wrong by investing in our company’s digital asset.
Q: Then there’s the other judgement against your property by a powerful lawyer who you paid high 6-figures over the last few years for legal services for your startup to get your cutting edge technologies regulated but instead they refused to regulate you citing that old case from the early 2000s where you were falsely accused then fully exonerated with your record remaining clean so you were able to run SEC regulated hedge funds in the US and in Switzerland as well as obtain a Tier 1 exceptional talent visa in the UK and publish books for Wiley & Sons.
A: Yes, after the other co-founder and I had spent several hundred thousand euros (he sold a property) since we launched in 2018, we owed back rent on our office space rented from the same powerful lawyer. The other co-founder told me this lawyer would crush our company if I didn’t give him a mortgage then a second mortgage on my property. I did not have knowledge on how much rent was owed then learned the lawyer had placed the maximum penalty allowed by law so the total owed came to 90941.99 EUR.
At this time, we then ended our office lease agreement with him. He then blamed us for structural damages to the frame of the building even though tenants are not legally responsible for such things and of course, we had nothing to do with the acts of nature that caused it. We even spent a large sum bringing the office space back into like-new condition, better than when we started renting the space. We also have witnesses who we intentionally invited into the discussion when we were at our rental who are willing to testify. But this Machiavellian titan can throw such accusations at us because he thinks we dont have capital to defend ourselves.
After ending the office lease agreement, I wired him the full amount he was owed, 90,941.99 EUR, which included an additional roughly 25.5k EUR for the maximum rate of interest for late payments allowed by law. But he has not yet rescinded his two mortgages against my property! It is classic Davy vs Goliath, except this Goliath is armed to the legal teeth with massive capital backing.
But one lives and dies by reputation. The Japanese royal branch of my family, who deals with far larger players and major countries, will bring down the hammer on him and his firm if he pushes too hard. They own and thus control a portion of the media. To them, this part of the world is like a flea on a camel’s back. That said, I have no interest in dealing with this side of my family. They are also take-no-prisoners, ruthless types who will go to war the likes of which he cannot possibly comprehend. I will have no part in it, but I also cannot control their actions if they choose to go against him or certain individuals such as the two people who used that false article to slander my name to discredit me and cover up their own crimes, at least in the case of one of them. That said, I will never reveal names because I have no interest in revenge which I find primitive. I believe karmic justice is far more just where everyone wins in terms of soul growth which is why each of us is here.
Q: Yet you seem to remain not only at peace, unjaded, untarnished, but also still a kid at heart, unconditionally loving, forgiving, and compassionate towards all including the bad actors.
A: I’ve come to realise that the worse things get in life, the deeper I go spiritually, similar to Michael Singer in his book The Surrender Experiment who was facing over 30 years in federal prison for a false accusation. Higher source has shown me that life always happens for us, not to us. We are souls here to grow. The Earth is a tough classroom. The universe is the university. The greater the challenges, the greater the growth. El Pepe of Uruguay who had to spent over a decade in solitary confinement said one grows more from adversity than from success. I believe that once we graduate, our souls go on to higher education elsewhere in the multiverse. If we graduate, death is a doorway to higher growth curves, otherwise we repeat life here on Earth.
