Formula Rossa is a launched roller coaster located at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Manufactured by Intamin, Formula Rossa is the world's fastest roller coaster with a top speed of 240 km/h (150 mph).
It takes less than 5 seconds to reach a maximum speed. The length of the track is also very impressive; it is 2200 meters. Outlines of the track repeat the legendary race track located in Monza, Italy. It's noteworthy that Ferrari racers have tested the world famous ride and officially confirmed its highest class.
If you are the guy who is much into speed but never actually got the chance to sit and have a ride in an extremely powerful super car, then you must have a ride at this amazing machine. In its planning stage it was called F1 Coaster. On 4 November 2010, the roller coaster officially opened to the public.
It goes as high as 171 feet in the air and it was fully designed to simulate and recreate a racing Ferrari. It has got 1.2 miles of track, thus meaning that you are going to have minutes of great and awesome fun and it is going to be an experience that you have never felt before. Riders experience up to 1.7 g of force during acceleration and up to 4.8 g throughout the ride.
In addition, only people up to 130 kilos and 195 centimeters can experience this magical ride. One and half minutes ride at great speed gives visitors a unique chance to feel the emotions and stress that are experienced by world-famous racers of Ferrari.
