Ether means hypothetical invisible medium.It is an cryptocurrency which works on blockchain generaed by ethereum platform.It was first proposed in late 2013 by vitalik buterin but it comes to crowd sale on 2014. Ethereum logo was first developed in 2014.The ethereum symbol is taken from the greek letter XI
The ethereum is written in GO,C++,RUST languages .
When ethereum was released in 2016 it was divided in to two blockchains.
They are 1) ethereum(ETH)
2)ethereum classic(ETC)
The total supply of ethereum was about 100million as of june 2018.
The ethereum addresses are started of prefix "DX" for hexadecimal,concated with the right most 20 bytes of the keccak-256 hash(big endian) of the ECDSA policy.
Now-a-days most of the crypto currencies which launched and going launch are on the ERC-20 platform.Ethereum is sused as peer-to-peer netwok for transferring money from one person another or from one country to another country.Ethereum speed is more than the bitcoin speed.t\most of the crypto exchanges are supporting the etrhereum so it in the next place to bitcoin. Though it has many advantages it was wrongly used by the hackers andalso for illegal activities.
