Cricket has become 20-20 entertainment today, but former President Dr. Abdul Kalam Azad had woven a dream of all-round development of the country India 2020 A Vision for the New Millennium.

The introduction of 20-20 format cricket began in 2003 but Dr. Kalam was unloaded at the same pitch to India in 2020 in 1998. There was insistence on making feature the nation, to put in 2020, developed countries, including India become self-sufficient in education health and food category.

Under the leadership of Dr Kalam, a team of 500 experts from different fields was made the first document under the name of India Vision 2020 under the Department of Science and Technology. Under this, India was dreamed of forming a developed nation by 2020. They gave five sources for it.

1.Considering the growing population of India, the country needs to double production of agricultural production and food processing.

2. Electrification will have to be taken to the villages and it will be necessary to increase the solar power.

3. Need to eliminate illiteracy from the country. Social security and people will have to make health related facilities easily available.

4. Promotion of e-Governance in Information and Communication Technology and Education, Promoting Technology like Telecommunication and Telemedicine.

5. Strengthening the Development of Nuclear Technologies, Space Technology and Defense Technology
