hello friends,
if you wanted to save some bucks then its ok to buy an older generration phone rather than going for latest product.now for the comparision i chose iphone 8 plus over iphone 8 because of its camera which offers equally the same camera performence as of iphone x well so now i have proved my point i will talk about it later in my comparision.
(1).power/chipsets
well you know this iphone 8,iphone 8 plus and iphone x all have same power/chipsets they all come with A11 bionic so there is no comparision in raw power and in 3d too it was same in all three they have apple GPU with three core graphics in simple words a user will not feel any difrence in frame rates or in genral performence.
(2).camera
in this area i will say there is no comparision in back camera performence as both the phones offer same specs but ipone x have diffrent layout for it there is only a slight diffrent and that is iphone 8 plus telephone lens Doesn’t have ois.
and for selfie camera both are same but for shure it has those sensors at the front which offers you Portrait mode on front too.well thats for camera
(3)display
this is the place where iphone x really excels there is truly no competition when it comes to display the iphone 8 plus offers the old beten up disply of which you have seen in iphone 6 plus in 2014 the same 1080p display which gives just above 400ppi on 5.5 inch display though iphone 8 plus have true tone and wider color gamut the colours look slightly more vivid than iphone 6 plus and in the other hand iphone x have the latest amoled display 458ppi on 5.8 inch screen which is way brighter and lcd and destroys lcd when it come to colours and shows blacks like they were(being a amoled it should) so you got the drill right.
(4)Build quality
well iphone 8 plus was the heaviest in all iphones until now.well considering the meterials both have glass back with metal at center but iphone x has steel and iphone 8 plus has almunium(glad its almunium as its lighter than steel).
(5) user’s perspective
this is the most improtant thing you shold keep in mind iphone x as you know doesn’t have touch id insted it only have face id which was much slower than touch id and to implement face id they gave us an notch at top this will probably beceme an eyesore to you while watching movies and playing game you could not use full display of such a expensive device and you will feel like using an iphone 8 rather than iphone x because it simply srinks the screen to make it look ok while a video.
(6)battery life
this is the area where you cant go wrong with iphone 8 plus and if you wanted to play games and consume content on your phone you should go for iphone 8 plus than iphone x because 8 plus gives almost double battery than of iphone x at 6 hours and 3 and half hours respectively.
