Feed Me!

Her insatiable hungry drove her steps. She wanted more, and she would not be content until she had her fill. Euna’s upper fangs delivered quite a bit when paired with her two razor-like bottom teeth.

Lords and ladies of the land cringed in fear as she walked by and snapped her jaw. Prior victims ran away (at least those who lived to tell about her ferocious bite). Euna’s wicked cackle made a thunderous noise, as if she was declaring, “Feed me!”

So, the town’s people did just that. They fed her. Day after day, they feed her.

Only the bravest knights dared shovel food in her wanting mouth, but Euna must be appeased, or else the whole kingdom would feel her wrath. Impatiently, Euna grasped for the hands that fed her. Her eyes screamed, “Feed me!”

Children gagged when Euna’s putrid smell filled their nostrils. They were disgusted by the partially digested food she would regurgitate, but she did not care. Her face was covered with the spoils of victory. She had been appeased (at least for now), and the town’s people could quietly rest until the next time Euna’s belly grumbled.

Now mom and dad lay little Euna into her crib. In a few more hours the monster would reawake, and the people who scamper to meet Euna’s new demands of “Feed me!”
