Not to worry, astrology is a technical art, with importance placed on timing, and lots of symbols and mathematical alignments that are interpreted to have meaning, like technical analysis of currency charts in one sense. Just as the cycles of full moon and new moon affect the tides, so similarly the cycles of the planets are supposed to affect the consciousness of people.
