RE: 5 Ways To Develop A Better Outlook (They're at the bottom)

Thank you @layl. :c)

I personally found your post to be very timely as I admit that I'm in the process of getting myself out of a mild rut. :cP

Just one question - does Steemit not also count as social media? :c)

Granted - and thanks. ;c)

Excellent question.

1: Technically Steemit is a "Social Media" platform, however it quite literally rewards longer form, thoughtful content and interractions.
2: Steemit doesn't practically require you to scroll through feeds and get pinged with relentless notifications. (However, I still have to be mindful not to get caught up in constantly checking my posts, wallet, replies, etc... The potential pitfalls are still here but much easier to avoid than the mainstreem social networks)
3: My vision of the future features me as a full-time writer/content creator. So I look at Steemit as my training ground for being a better writer and connecting with my audience.

I'll admit. It's a fine line. LOL

Glad you found some value here.
Thank you SO MUCH for resteeming!

Excellent replies. :c)

1 - Being rewarded is a very helpful and important difference. ;c)

2 - Part of the reason is that it is not very practical to navigate Steemit for fresh content and the like. Its usually more doable to restrict such to one's feed. This is both a plus and a minus.

3 - Using a platform such as this as a stepping stone to 'going pro' sounds like a productive use of your time. Here too there is room for improvement but its a good start. :c)

Oh - and you're welcome. :c)
