The prison-industrial complex is behind all the oppression going on in the United States. They're making a whole mint in locking up even people that don't belong behind bars but are behind bars simply because they cannot afford a decent lawyer and the public defenders will coerce them into taking a plea bargain that is no bargain at all despite that they may be innocent of the charges against them. Now police are serving the rich instead of protecting the public safety. Our elected officials won't do anything to protect our rights, because they're likely accepting bribes from these tycoons who own the prison-industrial complext. It's reprehensible.
The truth will free the slaves, but first it's gonna make them mad.
