Mining rigs do not have to be ugly..
Here is one of my rigs that will never return ROI but its damn cool to look at and worse case I can resell it to a nerd on ebay.
Tomahawk motherboard with a Ryzen 5 CPU
One PCIE x1 to x16 adapter
Corsair Fancy looking white power supply with cool white cabling
AMD Vega 64
X2 Zotac 1080 ti minis
What is cool.. Mine ZEC on the 1080 tis really working with a strong point. Mine XMR with the Vega using beta blockchain and its sick fast.
What sucks..
Since there are AMD and Intel mixed you have to find mining software that plays well together or run instances.
If you mine ethereum Claymore is super cool and will use both AMD and Intel GPUs without and issue.
Tips..
Undervolt! I have all cards running -30% power. This will increase the lifespan of the cards, keep temps down and save power.
If you mine ethereum overclock the memory clocks leave the standard GPU clock to default.
If you mine ZEC turn off the memory overclock and turn up the standard GPU clock (within reason).. Every card has a sweet spot and but most take better to memory overclocking vs GPU clock.
