ASUS and NVIDIA's new mining GPU for ETH

The amount of miners is increasing daily. You can mine on you current PC (if you have a powerful GPU and make a decent amount of money). I show you how HERE.

Both companies are working on on coin mining GPUs, with high efficiency components delivering maximum hashrate production at minimum cost. Asus is talking about a 36% increase of hashrate production wich is really good. Also, these cards will be extremely durable enabling 24/7 mining.

So this is great news... or is it?

On paper

On paper this is great. The miners can have their GPUs, Asus and NVIDIA can both profit from the new cards and the gamers can have their GPUs at a normal price (seriously GPUs are currently so overprice it's ridiculous).

The reality

I don't think the majority (if any) of miners will get the new mining cards. Here's why :

  • Asus and NVIDIA would have to make a LOT of GPUs. Seriously there are a LOT of miners out there trying to make money. The fact that crypto is so big right now make's it almost impossible for these companies to make enough GPUs for all the miners.

  • Miners would still take the gaming GPU. Why? Because gaming GPUs retain value. If the crypto market goes to sh*t tomorrow, you can still sell those gaming GPUs. But you can't do the same with the mining ones, because they only have 1 use AKA mine.

So what do we do?

We wait.
We live in a freemarket (capitalism) society. This is what a freemarket looks like. Price is based on offer and demand. If the demand for a good is higher than the offer then the price rises.
Cheap GPUs will come back, just like they came back after the Bitcoin (BTC) mining period ended. But for now we must wait.

Hi just followed you I like the look of your feed some interesting news and blogs in there. I am looking for like minded bloggers to follow as my feed is very sad at the moment. Totally agree. Unless the offer a 30% boost for the price over gaming GPU's they will not be popular.
