Mining is an investment for long-term
There are quite a few calculators that helps you to calculate your profit from mining.
You need to put inputs to calculate and see if it works for you!
Some important points:
Keep in mind your power cost in your area as it differs from place to place.
The next main thing is choosing the right card to mine for with the compatible board. (Every card has its own hashrate)
Make sure you are familar with the settings that are running.
They produce heat so make sure they are placed in a cool room.
There are certain more points that you will experience when you start mining.
Say if you are mining ETH coin, You generate ETH and hold it when ETH price rises your profit increases.
So yes, A good investment for long term!

Hi is it your rack ? How many gpu are you running ?
In my opinion mining is profitable (if starting from scratch) if mined crypto values will kind of moon. Else profitability % is quite low.
What is your opinion ? It was not clear in your post.
