How to view Steemit as a business

in #minnow9 years ago

Hello I am new to this social media stuff, but I like people and i like helping others so i think steemit is something i should investigate more.
Like most people I get spam invites from Facebook occasionally, these are pure trash invites; i know this since these invites come from an extra Facebook account i myself created for another project. So these invites are from my Facebook friend (who is myself) to be involved in some particular thing on Facebook. Now I know i am not using that other acct; nor is anyone else, so Facebook is trying to lure me into its network or crazies again...
But here at steemit I have other interests, and have decided upon a course of learning this new world.
The other day i wikipedia steemit, then i went and google'd social media; i need to understand better the aim and power of social media and these people platforms...
Currently I am investigating and brainstorming different options to utilize steemit better.
Being educated and having written academic assignments, I am writing down pros and cons for each and everything I can think of within steemit.
I am brainstorming ways to increase my effectiveness and gain more steem influence.
Once I have worked out a few different parameters and strategies in seven days time i will write down my business plan with achievable target goals within specific time periods.
Currently I am sniffing around another steemian to see how they operate and am starting to pull their block chain apart to seek info about how they blog, post, vote etc...
In short I am inventing a self study university course to give myself a college level education in all things steemit related. I plan on helping others within my network with knowledge, skills and advice; not in voting blocks or anything but simply to share strategies on what we find effective or not.
If others within steemit get better then my shares portfolio increases and becomes more marketable as the reputation of steem becomes better known and more trusted...
So why not investigate some time and effort into understanding this business platform better; make written notes and then turn those notes into plans with written timed achievable goals, what have you got to lose ? nothing ;)
/hugz see you on the BC (blockchain) :)
