We fixed many bugs the last days and improved the look and feel of the webpage https://www.minnowbooster.net a lot. There you can see everything happening with the bot in real time.
We had some votes fail because of blockchain weirdness but we improved our system to try again and resolve commonly known error. If you feel like your vote is missing, we have a page showing recent votes and their status: https://www.minnowbooster.net/upvotes
If your vote has an ✘ then please talk to us for a refund! We plan to automate that in the near future.
We added the most awesome upgoats. And for those that use minnowbooster on their own posts we have selfgoats. Keep these goats fed because upgoats need food too.

We earned an amount of sbd that day and we had an amount of investment and you have a share of the investment so you get a share of the sbd

I know there are other things to consider like : where you will get the SP for the other bot and how would you handle users making more accounts.

Min $0.1SBD is not viable for Minnow. Can you lower down the amount to $0.01SBD?

I saw there is a tutorial which describes how it's done but i still don't understand what will happen with my steem and how i will receive it back (will I even?)
It's like leasing a sportscar. You pay 1 steem to get 65 steem worth of steem power but only for one week. So after the week the 65 steem power are given back but your 1 steem payment is a payment. In that one week your increased steempower can be used freely.
I see, will have a closer look at this when I'm back home again :)

I'll comment my feedback on your calculation here:
First of all curation rewards still use an exponential curve at the moment, so it can be that your calculation is off once numbers get bigger.
But overall I too think that in the current situation making a positive outcome from curation is not easy. And we are warning people who think it is.
We selected our price based on what other delegation leasers prices were (we undercut them a bit) and at that point based our pricing so that it was profitable.
Well, the reward pool happened and the same amount of steem power is worth only half as much as it was when we started.
Our plan is to allow users to select their own price soon, so we won't govern a way to high price. Until then leasing SP is kind of a vanity thing, good for contests and for bigger votes.
If you have any suggestions how we can improve our service drop by our discord. I missed your first post so I could not respond at all then. I probably would have resteemed it with the account to give users a perspective. But your current post makes it look like we make intentionally bad prices and that is just not the case :)
I have never said that you’re doing this INTENTIONALY and I would never dare to do that, since I don’t know any of you guys. If it looks like that could you tell me, what is the difference between first and second research that made you think so? I don’t want to do it again or I can still edit it, because it really was my intention. It was all just supposed to inform the new ones about anticipated outcome. All I wanted to do was help the new ones save some money. According to the amount of up votes, no one probably cares anyway :).
I think it was the summary in the end that kinda suggested to boycott us. It may be I am reading too much into it but it felt that way when I read it.
If you can edit it a bit to state that leasing most likely won't be profitable and users should make their own calculations before depending on it. But there are other reasons for a lease and they work out.

what happens if people undelegate after the delegations for 4 weeks are already paid for? I tried this and it says if after 3 days it isn't filled there will be a refund, then it is filled and all is good until a few days later when the person pulls the delegation weeks before the agreed time. There needs to be something in place for this, and I hope the people that do it don't get the amount I spend and then go do the same to someone else.
If you see this happening tell us and you get a refund (and the payment will be canceled). We are working on automated detection.
Thanks for the speedy response time, automation for it sounds great, I had 200 SP undelegated 3 weeks early today by animus, partial refund is fine I had like 6 days of use from it but it was supposed to be a lot more.
