Please don't. I called it upon myself by choosing for this username. And I don't consider gender to be of any importance - it is highly overrated. Would it have made a difference if you would have known from the start?
If it makes you feel any better, it happens to me at least a couple of times a week: people I've been talking to around here (sometimes for months) suddenly appear to be male or female, and I realize I had the wrong idea all that time. But since it is of no importance at all, imo, I just see that as funny.
Hate kids too? LOL so did I.. before i got my first, funky hormons do that mess to you ^^ ;)
Fortunately, those hormones seem to be heavily sedated for me. :0)
When my friends are talking about how their biological clock is ticking if I ask them why they want kids so suddenly, I always say mine seems to be broken, lol. I'm too much of a kid myself - even though I'm over 40 - and there is still so much I need to learn before I would ever be able to take responsibility for a new life. I would probably f*ck it up badly, and the world doesn't need any more fcked up people, lol.

That's about the only thing I understood from day 1: keep it around 80%. Don't think I ever got lower than 70, in an extreme case

Yep. I still see a vote more as a way to motivate people than as a tool to earn curation rewards. I give a lot of people small 'sympathy-votes'.
Now these last two weeks, I have been following a trail set up to support the members of our Steemmonsters team - I actually had forgotten all about it until today. My curation rewards had gone down, but before today, I didn't think of the fact that I had edited my autovoting settings to be able to follow that trail. So now I stopped following the trail, which means I have to make changes again. So time-consuming to set everything up properly.
Before I started following that trail, I was doing a lot better. Not so long ago, @abh12345 took the time to explain to me what I was doing wrong and what to pay attention to, in a way one would explain to a 5-year old, lol. That's the only way I manage to understand technical things like curation, lol.
After he had explained, my rewards went up by 50%. But then Dave proposed that trail, and I messed everything up again :0)
So I guess I'll be spending some time on Monday to try to fix it again.

Perfect example of such a 'technical' thing I don't understand. I know about the existance of Vests, but I don't have a clue what that sentence means. To be honest, I've always thought vests were only another way to express SP - like a different metric system (like inches/centimeters).
I have never even paid attention to the number of vests, lol.
I'm such an idiot when it comes to things like that :0)
