From Steemit To Your PayPal!
I finally needed some money and it looked like my only option was to attempt what I have been dreading since day one on Steemit. Time to withdraw this SBD and turn it into "COLD HARD CASH" I have seen people talk about it before and there were so many way's to go about this, with some people instructing me to go to FIVE websites before withdrawing to PayPal . . .
I Guess I'll Do My Own Research
So after about 4 hours on the nets comparing fee's, exchange rates, transaction time, signing up. I have found a Easy and Trusted Solution, let's just go ahead and get started! Follow the STEPS below!
The Journey Begins Now!
The first time is always the worst part. Once we get this over with, turning your SBD into PayPal money will be a breeze next time! I PROMISE!
(Don't Worry This Will Be Easy!)
Step 1.
You will need a wallet!
This will be where we send your SBD and Exchange for BTC.
I use HitBTC and they have saved me some major headaches, I have tried Livecoin, Poloniex, and Coinbase. They all gave me nothing but problems, and SBD always seems to be down.
Ok go and sign up for your wallet here HitBTC, please make sure to verify email.
Step 2.
Let's Send That SBD to Your New Wallet!
Assuming you have Finished and Verified step 1. Let transfer your SBD to your new HitBTC wallet and get your funds closer to your hands!
Go to your Steemit.com wallet, and select your STEEM DOLLARS and click transfer.
Transfer pop up will appear.
Here you will enter your HitBTC fund info into the correct fields.
You can get your info from HitBTC, go to funds and click funds icon next to SBD.
Once filled correctly it should resemble the picture below, make sure to put correct info into correct fields.
Once completed you should get confirmation in your steemit wallet history.
Step 3.
Lets Turn That SBD Into BTC!
Please give steemit some time to send the sbd to your wallet, I usually see the funds enter my wallet within 15-30 minutes.
Your funds have arrived!
Now that you have your SBD in your HitBTC wallet, let's keep that money moving and transfer it to your trading account! Just go to your SBD funds in your HitBTC account and click correct transfer arrow to move your SBD to your trading account.
Now that you have SBD in your trading account, lets exchange for BTC.
Go to the SBD exchange, you can go there easily by clicking the Go To Trading link next to the SBD column on the HitBTC funds page.
Let's Make A Sale
Now that were in the SBD/BTC exchange lets sell for some BTC. Go to the Market sell SBD box under the SBD/BTC exchange graph. Easy way to sell all SBD is just to click your balance and it will enter total SBD balance into sell amount. Once you have the amount of SBD you wish to sell for BTC just click the sell market button and your BTC will be instantly available in your BTC trading account in Funds page.
Lets Transfer This BTC!
Now that you have BTC in your wallet, it will be in your trading account. So let's move it over to your Main account, just click the transfer arrow to move the BTC from your trading account to the main account. This is required to withdraw BTC.
Step 4.
Lets Turn That BTC Paypal Money!
Before we can complete the final steps, please go and sign up here VirWox this is how we move your money to your PayPal, you are almost THERE!

All Signed Up?
Now that your signed up and confirmed your email, let's send your BTC to VirWox and we can finally get that money into your PayPal. Lets get your BTC deposit address from VirWox so we know where to send your monies. Go to My Account and click deposit, here you should see your Bitcoin Address.
Copy the address and go back to your HitBTC wallet, go to your funds and click the withdraw icon next to your BTC funds section. Enter the amount and make sure to paste the correct address from your VirWox account. Once you feel good with the amount, click withdrawl.
Now We Wait . . .
Please give Your wallet and VirWox some time to complete the transaction, I have been getting completion within 1 hour. Go take a break, drink some coffee, check your steemit stats.
Yay We Got Funds!
Now that your BTC is in your VirWox account, let's get it to your PayPal!
First we have to Make Some Sales. Lets go ahead and sell your BTC for SLL. VirWox will not let us Exhange BTC directly to USD so we have to use SLL to get around this issue, don't worry it's easy. Just click the links and it will be a breeze!
Just Click These Links In Order (Easy is Better)
Sell BTC to SLL
Once that's Finished Let's Sell That SSL to USD
Sell SSL to USD
Now To PayPal!
The time has arrived, thank you for sticking with me. Trust me next time will be a BREEZE (EASY)! So now you have USD in your account, the WITHDRAW section will now have options for you. Click withdraw under the My Account panel, you should see PayPal as a second option to withdraw, now comes the BEST PART! Complete the fields with correct information. Make sure you fill in the correct PayPal email address and the amount sending is correct, now click "Request withdrawal" and your DONE!
CONGRATS YOU DID IT!
Give it 2-5 minutes and if you filled in everything correct you should see your funds appear in your PayPal account! the deposit should look similar to the pic below, enjoy that money and I hope I have helped you save some time and frustration VirWox truly is a blessing!

I also have the paypal debit card, so it is nice to be able to send to paypal then use any where or go to atm with the card!
Awfully complex? I was just sending steem OR sbd straight over to bittrex, then to coinbase and out to paypal. Super easy, all websites, no wallet setup hassles at all.
That's a bit costly for small moves so now I just go steem or sbd to blocktrades to a prepaid bitpay visa and out the ATM in cash. Much cheaper and only ONE move to make.

Yeah if you have time for Verification from coinbase, you don't mind waiting for a debit card. Yes the options you have stated will be viable. This process if for people that needed there cash now, and have a paypal account. I needed the cash now to pay a bill and I got the paypal debit card so it worked out better for me. I am still new and I didn't have time for waiting periods longer then 2-3 days I needed the cash today! Thanks for the INPUT! This post was aimed more towards PayPal account holders, I do have Bitpay as well. I'm currently still waiting for the debit card. Hope I didn't waste the $9 they charged me to get the card. :(
You didn't. It takes less than a week, confirmed by me and my buddy who ordered about the same time, a day apart. (@nicnas from MSP also)
I guess I got lucky on coinbase, never had any wait. Signed up and used it.
But do keep in mind blocktrades is built right into steemit, and will send your money anywhere you want wallet wise. From there to cash there are lots of options we neither one covered here.
I got a notice about my internet bill so I freaked out, I log into coinbase, cant withdrawl to paypal because I need to upload my ID and wait for verification So that was out of the question. Livecoin has a whole proccess of me having to send in my information and then they verify, Polinex is a joke, everytime I need them. SBD is down! Just like today. So yeah for my situation today, this process is what saved my INTERNET from being shut off! Trust me I spent about 4-5 hours trying to find the best way to get my SBD to my paypal debit card. This was the best way!

I'm glad it worked out. I just snapped a picture of my driver's license with my phone and sent it on in and was in in a few minutes at coinbase. they just are too damn expensive for my preference so I found another way
yeah coinbase was a bit of a letdown for me! let a youtuber talk me into them, and I havent really enjoyed it.
So far the only wallet that has been awesome for me is my HitBTC wallet. No problems at all!
Bittrex is amazing. I would never user use polo. EVERY report is bad about them. NEVER had a bittrex issue.
Great guide and I got your point, but keep in mind VitWox has one of the highest fees and the worst exchange rates out there. Also, there will be Paypal fees as well. Might be the fastest way if you need urgent money, but the least efficient.
Wasnt bad, $1 fee from VirWox and a 2% fee from PP. Didnt even notice.
Well yeah, that's not that bad. I didn't use it in the last 3 years and I remembered more. But the exchange rates are one of the highest for sure.

I know VirWox but a lot of people complain about high fees. Is this still the case?
Is this still how you do it? Brittex isn’t allowing me to login
