RE: Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | What’s Broken in My House

The light switches has been broken in my house for 10 years. When I say broken I mean they do actually work but the switches in one room do not control the room they are in. For example a switch in the kitchen turns on and off the hall way. The hallway controls the sitting room. One switch in the sitting room controls the spare room down stairs. The spare room switch controls the landing upstairs. It's a quirk. Rather than pay an electrician to fix it , my wife just went out 10 years ago and purchased a shit load of lamps which run off alexa sockets. Job done.

Did I hear 10yrs, wow that's a long long time ago, so why haven't you changed it?

Because my wife got a shit load of lamps. 😃. It's quite quirky. It reminds me of a Julia Donaldson book kids book called "what the ladybird heard". Great book. So if I ever get burglars won't know whats going on.

Lol, that's a funny reason that have some senses in it anyway.

also in Ireland we call these the "big" light which is better left off for a more softer alternative. Easier for the hangovers.

Ohh really?
