RE: Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | I Can Speak Fluent Duck Now

in #mischievousmondays3 months ago

I raise ducks and every three months I collect blood tests from some of the animals to check their health and meet certain countries' export criteria. During one collection, I had an accident and fell on the collected material. The blood from some of the animals got into a wound on my arm and entered my bloodstream. I spent almost 48 hours with a fever and unconscious. When I regained consciousness, I began to understand what the ducks are talking about. It seems crazy, but I can understand and talk to them. The funniest thing is knowing the topics they discuss daily: who will eat the most; today is my day to be at the front of the line; the chickens can't stay in our territory. Over time, they discovered that I can understand and talk to them, but this became a problem. Now they're demanding specific foods and asking me for help keeping unwanted animals away. Just yesterday one of the ducks was asking questions about the metal bird that passes in the sky... I don't know what to do, I spend most of my day talking to ducks, my "duckese" is improving... There are times when I don't know if I'm speaking the language of humans or not, the one thing I know is that the ducks want me to buy them popcorn.
