Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!
This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.
Why Mischievous?
We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

When I was in my junior secondary 2, my class teacher fell from the stool he was sitting on. The stool broke and he hit his buttocks on the floor.
At that inappropriate time, my brain decided to laugh 😂. The teacher being a strict man, flogged the whole class because of my laughter 🥺🥺
My brain has made me laugh at truly inappropriate moments. I have two anecdotes for the same reason. It really wasn't my intention, but my brain played a very nasty trick on me. It turns out that I was told that the mother of a student I was teaching a computer course to had died. Instead of expressing my condolences, I said, “Really?” And a smile spread across my face. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't be serious. I was laughing, and people were looking at me with a “what?” expression on their faces. Then I did it again when I told a girl who knew him and she asked me about him. She said, “Why are you laughing about that?” I really couldn't wipe the smile off my face, and it happened every time the subject came up.
Last year, I told a friend that the husband of a mutual acquaintance had died, and I did the same thing again. I couldn't keep a straight face, and she asked me, “Why are you laughing?” and I said, “No, I'm not laughing,” but I had to make an effort not to laugh. It was really embarrassing, but I don't know why I communicated that news with laughter and smiles. How awful
Thank you.
It was 40 years ago. It was my wedding day. I got married at city hall. A small group of family in the courtroom gathered. My husband to be, had his brother stand on one side. I had my best friend on the other side by me.
The judge walked in the door. I looked over at my brother in law to be. He had a strange wide eyed look, and smirk on his face. I whispered, "what"?
He whispered to me that the judge was the one who recently convicted him of recent traffic fines. I was so blindsided by this, that I started to laugh. I tried to suppress it so it wasn't a loud one. One hand over my mouth and tears of laughter welling up. I had to chant to myself, "no you can't no no no"!!!! "Not today oh no"!!!
I looked back and saw my father with tears of sentiment in his eyes. He was happy that I was getting married. No one knew that I was laughing to this day.
I was divorced 5 years later. My marriage was a joke.
Thank you for the upvote
The Most Inappropriate Time My Brain Decided to Laugh is during a meeting with supervisors and the owner of the company. The topic is very serious which is about cybersecurity and two of the supervisors have some long-lasting disagreement with each other and when they are clashing on their ideas about a certain topic I can hide myself giggling as I already know that they will eventually argue as the meeting goes by and I have to compose myself as the owner might see me laughing on a very serious topic.
