A defi platform for the movie industry is quite innovative and we are convinced beyond doubts that mogul is on course to decentralize the movie industry, allowing all have a say in what is seen on the big screen!
Up next, our discourse here would dwell on the mogul access passes. What they are, types, as well as their use cases.
What Are Mogul Access Passes?
You might probably be wondering what business access passes have on blockchain. Lol! Now chill a bit before you get confused by these seeming alien concepts. These are actually things familiar to us crypto folks, though in a whole new package, which of course tallies perfectly with the nature of the project.
Access passes on mogul platform are simply its native tokens. They are so dubbed because they are like licenses that grants users access or permission to interact on the mogul platform. Mogul access passes are basically of two nature: the fungible and the non-fungible tokens - which are the STARS tokens and limited edition NFTs respectively. These tokens are all based on the Ethereum blockchain network.
Access Pass Nfts
These are artistic representations of users’ ranks or levels within the mogul ecosystem. Mogul access pass NFTs are of different types, and each one determine users’ rewards and the extent of their interactions on the platform. The Access Pass NFTs are transferable from one user to another
Stars
Stars tokens are the basic requirements for users to interact on the mogul platform. Without stars, one lacks access to basic functionalities and privileges within the mogul system such as voting for movies and partaking in decision making processes. A minimum of 1 STAR is required for users to access and partake in key activities on the platform.
STARS are used as governance and utility token within the Mogul platform. Below are their use cases:
- Access to mogul platform: requires at least one star
- Governance: Voting on major decisions on the platform.
- Voting on movies to be produced
- Used as an in-app currency, such as for purchasing rewards and for submitting projects.
Although the total supply of STARS token is yet unknown to the public, its initial supply is capped at 400 million STARS with a 4% yearly inflation. 50% of this initial supply are earmarked for different development purposes within the platform, while 50% are for distribution during the token sales. The distribution ratio is as follows:
Red Capret Acess Passes - - - 50,000,000 (12.5%)
Backstage Access Passes - - - 50,000,000 (12.5%)
Vip Access Passes - - - 25,000,000 (6.25%)
All Access Passes - - - 10,000,000 (2.5%)
Top up sales - - - 65,000,000 (16.25%)
MOGUL ACCESS PASS SALES
In case you’re unaware, the Mogul Access Pass sales had since kicked off on the 25th of March, 2021 and will last till April 8th. So far, the sales have met with success as the project has seen huge support from its eager community. Just two days ago, the team announced it has completely sold out the red carpet access passes, considered the highest tier pass among all available access pass packages. Other passes in the different tiers have also witnessed impressive sales so far. This all shows the power of the mogul community, and all one can see is greener days ahead of mogul project.
So basically, Mogul access passes are sold in tiers. There are four tiers or packages from which users can choose to make their purchases. Each tier has fixed amount of STARS tokens, special NFTs, among other bonuses like physical merchandise. Additionally, there’s a Top-up contract from which users can directly purchase STARS token of any amount they desire. The available tiers/packages are as shown in the table below:

Users have the liberty to purchase more than one access pass during the sales, provided the purchases are done one at a time. The STARS tokens are distributed to participants’ wallets directly soon after their purchases while the NFTs are scheduled for distribution on April 27th.
Fate Of Unsold Passes
Crypto folks often like to know the plans for to unsold tokens after sales events. So it’s pertinent to bring it up right here. Mogul plans to lock up all unsold STARS in the Top-up contract. This way, users can still make purchases of the stars at any time later for use on the platform. As for the limited edition NFTs, they will be auctioned at a later time to the public
