It looks like you can use Steemit for SEO purposes. I just did a test and this url http://moldremovaldoctor.com is a clickable link . Now, you cannot use it for anchor links, but you can use raw urls to link to other sites. The Domain authority of Steemit is only 27, but the popularity of this site will eventually send that through the roof. There will be millions to billions of links coming from and going to Steemit.com.
I think this will be very valuable later as the site gets more popular.
We will see how fast google indexes Steemit...

I think it won't be so powerful unless it hits the more travelled pages like /trending. Down here the crawler might not even notice it.
As long as people keep writing and talking about Steemit, it will be seen by google bot and will get more exposure due to continual information being pumped out here, Google loves new information.
