am heutigen Montag möchte ich Euch gerne im Rahmen des #MondayTrance von @andyjaypowell inspiriert durch @uwelang einen Track des Tranceprojektes "Peyote" vorstellen.
Der Song heißt "Alcatraz" und wurde von den zwei Trance-Urgesteinen DJ Dag und Jam El Mar produziert und 1992 auf dem belgischen Kult-Laben R&S Records veröffentlicht. 🏆
Today I would like to present you a track of the trance project "Peyote" in the #MondayTrance of @andyjaypowell inspired by @uwelang.
The song is called "Alcatraz" and was produced by the two German trance-heroes DJ Dag and Jam El Mar. Alcatraz was released in 1992 on the Belgian cult label R&S Records. 🏆
Bei der Veröffentlichung entstand allerdings ein Fehler. Denn eigentlich hießt der Song im Video nicht Alcatraz, sondern "Happy Birthday". Der eigentliche Titel Alcatraz wurde wohl niemals veröffentlicht.
Irgendwo auf dem Weg vom Studio zum Presswerk wurden die Titelnamen vertauscht, was dem Erfolg dieses Klassikers aber nicht schadete. Auf der B-Seite der Platte befindet sich übrigens mit "I Will Fight No More" ein weiterer Trance Klassiker. 🏆
However, there was an error in the publication. Actually the song in the video is not called Alcatraz, but "Happy Birthday". The actual title Alcatraz was probably never published. Somewhere along the way from the studio to the final vinyl, the title names were changed, but that didn't hurt the success of this classic. On the B-side of the record there is another Trance classic called "I Will Fight No More".
