Great news for Bitcoin and Ethereum users looking for a hardware wallet. [Ledgerwallet has released the Ledger Nano S](https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/12-ledger-nano-s) today. Giving us all another great competitor between [Treznor](https://bitcointrezor.com/) and [KeepKey](https://www.keepkey.com/). Some things that sets this wallet provider and model apart is its quick adoption to other digital currencies and also how the **device restores your recovery seed**.
Treznor and Keeypkey devices currently display the seed is the setup process on the device and on screen. Recovery files or string are also imputed through a computer interface. For the Nano S as far as I read, allows the seed recovery input on the device. Your computer is never exposed with holding the recovery seed.

I look forward to each manufacturers developing their devices further to adopt and adapt to other digital currencies. I see Keepkey has obtained Multibit for Ethereum support and Treznor has reported they'll support it as well. We might see a wallet that stores your Steemit key's on it for while your on the go posting or contributing.
After seeing the [CoinCard](https://onlycoin.com/) device and its success. I can imagine a future in which a cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer combines both concepts. Allowing both legacy payment cards and digital currencies to be used in one device.
I don't understand why my format calls are not working. I'm following the markdown guide. Which works in comments...
I always format my stories in Wordpress backend and then copy and paste the html into Steemit. It works like a charm and is not as time consuming.
Great post by the way.
There is not currently any hardware wallet where we can store SMD, is there?
