I could definitely see that happening. How much good (or bad) feedback did the people have? I was really explicit in my request that the art had to be original, although maybe I have just been lucky so far.

I only used some of the top rated graphic designers, they all had plenty of glowing reviews. That's why I was so surprised about the end result. I don't expect much for $5, but I feel my time is worth something, and having to do a lot of research to find someone I can rely on put a big damper on it.
Very true and a good lesson to anyone thinking about using freelancing sites.
