1'Mental focus and an execution plan

Discipline is not easy to master and
requires a lot of hard work and focus.
We have things vve strive to, targets vve
have in our minds. To achieve these
targets, there is a need to have a proper
execution plan in place.

With concentration, you are better able
to provide answers to questions like
What success means to you, Why you
Want to achieve a particular goal, Who
you actually are and Where you are
headed. Use this method to keep track of
What you are doing and should be doing.

2'Self-forgiveness

The pathway to achieving self-discipline
is not at all an easy route to be followed
as we are forced to institute a new way
of thinking which is challenging. And, so
we all will have ups and downs, good
small successes and failures too.

Our life is similar to a vehicle which
is moving on a road and so there
will be times when we will enjoy the
smoothness of the road whereas there
would be times when we have to pass
broken roads, speed breakers.

Similarly, setbacks are not meant for
stopping us and forcing us for giving
up, instead, they are meant to be
acknowledged, forgiving ourselves
and continuing the way with a positive
spirit.

3'Don’t let your mood affect your work

'We all have a tendency to Work
effectively when we feel good and so it’s
not unheard of for people to reschedule
because they are not in a good mood.
Self-discipline sometimes can be tiring
and cause us to rework our schedule in
order to optimise output. lt also involves
making a conscious decision to not let
emotions positive and negative play any
role in the decision-making process.

4' Have a plan B
There is more than one Way to achieve a
goal. Like going out and finding alternate
routes when We encounter a holdup, our
life decisions rnust have backups. There
rnust be a plan to fallback on if the
original one fails.

Having a plan B is a beneficial approach
as it provides us with a chance to
counter when life throws a curveball at
our well-laid plans.
