RE: Alternative Payment Systems - some ways to reduce your reliance on FIAT currency.

in #money7 years ago (edited)

The problem is, there is no really easy way to spend these at retail outlets for things we need to buy everyday, such as food ...

I completely agree with you. The system is just not ready yet. However, what I and most investors do, is we are betting on the feature, we are preparing for the future. I have been accumulating precious metals for some time as well. The main reason is I just don’t believe in fiat anymore. I don’t trust our government and central banks who only print money whenever some problems appear getting us taxpayers into deep hole of debt.

You will be able to swap your Kinesis coins for real physical metal if you decide you no longer want your Kinesis coins.

Sounds like a very convenient way for real gold and silver holders. I usually wait how things play out and since I’m already invested in gold and silver, I feel like I’m invested in Kinesis already without buying the actual coin at this time. There is one thing I wonder when it comes to Kinesis coin. How does it separate from silver or gold price? Will there be two forks or two diferent coins?

Would'nt it be great to see the prices of the precious metals be determined by supply and demand and a free market?

Absolutely! That’s what we precious metal investors need.

Anyway, coming back to silver and gold, I wouldn’t be worried about the recent pullbacks at all. I believe it’s mostly weak hands selling at this time just like in crypto, I believe very soon our patience will pay off.

BTW: great way from ByteBall to get a huge amount of new customers.

Kinesis will have two different coins. The KAU representing 1gram of Gold, and the KAG representing 10grams of Silver. The big attraction is the Yield and this can be earned in several different ways, really by just minting, holding ,spending the Kcoins and referring others to the Kinesis system. Thanks for the positive feedback too and i am happy that you found it useful !
