Anyone who profits from fiat currency (The entire ruling global elite) would have motive for doing this. Fiat currency is the lifeblood of the current system. Instead of having to raise money for projects, like other global players throughout history, now they can just print colored paper. It is an immense amount of power that has never been had before (on this scale) and never will again after the big collapse.
