I dreamt twice about the winning numbers in the lottery! Can dreams be prophetic? - Part I

in #money6 years ago

On May 1979, the director of a car rental agency in Cincinnati, Ohio, described a dream that was later published all over the world: for ten nights in a row David Booth had dreams full of horrific details of the American Airlines crash DC10. In his dreams, Booth saw the plane take off but he felt it had a problem because - according to his testimony - "his engine did not sound good." So, in the dream, Booth looked out into an open field, saw the plane swinging to the right, rolling, flipping and crashing to the ground in a fireball with red-and gray smoke. This is the picture he had in his dreams for ten days in a row.

"I never had any doubt that something was going to happen," Booth told reporters later. He was so sure of the impending disaster that he had called federal aviation authorities and told them about his dreams, three days before the real May 25 crash in Chicago, at Chicago International Airport.

No one treated Booth contemptuously, but no one checked the DC 10 engines either. On the day of the crash, the plane lost a winged engine on takeoff, tipped sharply to the left, rolled over, flipped and exploded in an open field. Booth's dream disaster-came true. Right after that his dreams stopped!

The same David Booth published a prophecy in 2004 that the US was going to be destroyed, describing a ten-day continuous dream he had in 2003 when he saw a large celestial body pass by Earth and causes a huge explosion.

What are prophetic dreams?

Telepathy we all know. It is the ability to read thoughts, to know things that happen outside our usual sensory perception. All telepathic transmissions are happening right now: a friend calls us right now; an airplane lands at this moment; our child wins an award at school and we feel it right now.

A telepathic perception is about things that will happen in the future.

What happens when futuristic clairvoyant perceptions take place

First, the clairvoyants forget the concept that time is a linear continuum, a sequence of moments, which usually blocks the natural extrasensory perception. Then their perception changes their focus and they become aware of an event that is usually perceived to take place in the future. They enter the extended now moment. Unconsciously they then create images of objects that match the information they receive.

A normal event is captured by the physical senses and then deciphered by the brain. An extrasensory perceived event is directly perceived by the mind, while the physical senses are bypassed. The information is then given to the mind that interprets it. The physical body becomes aware of this but the physical senses are bypassed. The interpretation, by the brain, is done in the same way in both cases, otherwise, the event was not recorded for the physical body. (There is additional information obtained directly from the mind but bypasses the physical body and registers only at deep levels of the self. I will not get into that now).

Such extrasensory perception happens spontaneously in dreams. For example, during the dream you may smell fragrances that are not in the physical room. The memory of these is recorded by the body in a true and realistic way, like a normal "real" fragrance, the experience is then preserved and may emerge spontaneously or hypnotically.

Here are three examples of my own prophetic dreams -

  1. One night, many years ago, I dreamt that I met three Japanese guys who wanted to buy from me a simple and cheap calculator for $5000. In the dream, I was shocked because the gadget was worth not more than 10$. But they insisted. A feeling of grace and ease surrounded me and I made the deal. Three days later my regular lottery ticket won 5000 NIS.

  2. A few years after that dream I had two dreams, within a year, in which I dreamed about the winning numbers in the lottery. The first time I remembered only three numbers (out of six), and in the morning I went to buy the ticket. It won. In the second time, I was dreaming about all six numbers. In the dream, I told myself "I would remember the numbers when I will wake up", but alas, upon awakening only three remained in my memory. I went to buy a ticket and it won.

  3. Years ago I met in a dream a girl I knew who lived far away and with whom I didn’t maintain a constant connection. In the dream, she told me about her next vacation and the exact location she would go to. In the next day, I received an email from her telling the same thing.

How come people have prophetic dreams

Although It is a fact that many of the prophecies in history were not fulfilled (Nostradamus, Booth's and his ilk, etc.), there are indeed prophetic dreams.

What is the explanation?

It is about sensitivity and openness to the potential energies that are always around us. At dream time the ego is inactive and therefore allows the knowledge of these potentials to be known. Prophetic dreams capture events that are supposed to happen in the coming days, and the very memory of the dream fulfills this specific potential. Dreams about events two-three years ahead also predict a potential but their certainty is much less. We choose our life at every moment.

Children dream vividly. In deep dreams-journeys, children go farther and deeper. The ego gives them more freedom and that is why they have more telepathic abilities than adults. Since they have intense waking activity, the chemical surpluses in their bodies are built at a very rapid rate, and so they have an additional chemical impulse to be used for dreams in the night as if it was fuel to propel their psychic engine. They are also more aware of their dreams as a result.

In part II, I will discuss the practical sides of prophetic dreams and give you some tips to allow such dreams in your life. Who knows, maybe you will dream about the 6 numbers?

I've had the almost the same kind of experience, where I kind of dreamt of the future. The last one happened quite a while ago and it was the strongest experience where I kind of knew what the other person was going to say before them. It was quite an amazing experience!!!

... and this is the natural way to live!

Yes, dreams can be prophetic I have had already 3 dreams that happen to come true to the last detail. It is scary to know that God is showing me this a few months to a few days of the events. I don’t know what to do with them but ask God for mercy. I don’t share them because I don’t want people to think I’m crazy…

If they are dreams you want to experience in the reality then relax and let them happen. If they are dreams that foretell unfortunate events then remember that you can choose differently.

I am not doing anything with them. I left them to happen them on their own

Prophetic dreams are amazing for me as I wrote to you about my personal experience.
Is it possible that our senses collect data like parts of a puzle and complete it in a dream.
Like my brain is recording, not consciously signs from my son and if these signs are positive, it tries to explain it by the most probable reason and in the dream I can see he pass the exam...as an example.
Is that what you are saying in other words?

Your mind, if you allow it, "goes" to the future and sees the most probable events. Then it brings back to you the information. This sensed info depends a lot on your connection with the people (you will care to know about loved ones, like your son, and not about strangers) and also on your beliefs.

For example, if you don't want to be exposed to bad things in your life then your mind might block any future image/info that you might not like. or vice versa, it can bring only "bad" images, because the "dark" is being repressed during your awaked hours.

The best thing to do about such prophetic dreams is to breathe them in and release. Like in my dreams of the Japanese. When I woke up I took a deep breath, smiled to myself, remembered the feeling of ease when receiving that 5000$, and released the dream, didn't think about it, at all, until a few days later I won that 5000NIS.

The more you contemplate and process the dream, in your mind, the higher blockages you put in the natural flow of the reality.

I hope I answered your question.

Indeed thanks!

I also dreamed of winning a lottery. It was not much money. The prize was won only for 500 USD. Then I jumped as happy. But by the jump, all that will be lost.I could not ...Alas !!!!! sleep so broke ...Everything remained a dream

My way of understanding a prophetic dream as a christian is Usually dreams are one of the ways God uses to speak to his people . In these dreams God is speaking about your future actually when you take time and read the book of Genesis chapter 37 you will find a prominent Man his name is Joseph he was always treated harshly by his brothers but one day he got a dream when his brothers , mother and father are bowing down to him so after a some years they all bowed to him just like how he saw it in the dream . Some of God's promise come after a short while others take long to happen but all in all he still says in the bible that when its the right time the word that i spoke onto you shall be quickened
what happens is that some times the heavenly language is hard for us to understand since God uses parables but the holy spirit is there to reveal the meaning but one thing am sure of whether your a christian or not God talks to you because we are all his people so as father he has to take responsibility to tell us his plans for our lives and also inform us the traps that the devil has set for us
Hope this comment brings out the other side of a prophetic dream

Indeed.
Only I'd replace "God" with "True Self".
Thanks for the comment👍

True replace true-self with God because God is supreme just a small faith in him can change mountains

Abraham Lincoln was said to have dreamt of his own body laying in a coffin two weeks before his assassination. So they can be sometimes prophetic.

I’ve never been given very much in my whole life that I can remember and all of a sudden I got this huge amount of money. I just felt like I was floating,” she said after collecting the prize.

Won the lottery after a dream ...

Sometimes dream work sometimes not.
But we should not rely on dream

Great writting&article @nomad-magus thanks for blog...

Good writting skills @nomad-magus keep-it-up

loose in a perfect dream

@nomad-magus

#amazing

odd dreams like so @nomad-mag

That sounds like a very significant dream. It is possible that your dreams are a type of prophetic prayer and intercession to God – He is using the cry of your heart to minister in prayer, before His throne.

very nice tnx for shereing

Dreaming about the future things that could happen is not what everyone can do... It comes to those who got some powers beliefs or even some spiritual powers... Waiting for part two....

In my opinion, dreams are there not for just like that, indeed dreams are the mixture all emotions, experiences, imagination and energies which sometimes give us message through the medium of Subconscious way because when we are not in sleep our conscious state is more active and subconscious mind will also stay active because our subconscious mind stay active for 24/7 and it becomes super active when we are in sleep then as said earlier all these mixtures are use the medium of subconscious way and create an dream, but these dreams are mysterious in nature that's why most of the dream interpreters advice that the first action after dream should be the writing down the dreams because it can possible that we will forget the dream so quickly and if we follow this advice for some days you can study your dreams, then you should try to understand what message your dreams wants to give you. Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
