As the title suggests... have you had the access to virtually unlimited funding, what would you do with your funds?

Personally, I would start a new Kingdom based on Human Morality, and progression. There would be UBI (Universal Basic Income), and those who decided to work to create advances for mankind and products would of course have incentive to work. The enviornment would be kept safe and breathable, clean for all living things, while war and suffering would become a relic of the past.

Sort:

That's really nice of you. Very idealistic what you described it there. But will this be possible in real life? I mean, if you conflict with someone else interest you should easily get killed or something.
I think I will do something similar but not sure. I guess I will try to change the world for better that's sure. I will find some homeless people and give them houses, cars, healthcare, and jobs. First on the list will be ones that suffered the most. Then maybe invest in science for producing crops in arid areas to produce food for the hungry. And much more...

Really interesting question and very nice post. Like it. :)

Thanks for the input. I believe its poasible in real life, but near impossible without a specific circumstance. I lioe your idea too. Agrigculture in arid regions of the earth is extremely important. That seems to be heavily lacking these days.

I would use my influence to try to redistribute it a bit better.

But I think education is more important. Many people have lost their way and want money for nothing. I think people need to better understand again what money is, how the economy works, why people are compensated with money for their time and how everyone has an intrinsic value and why.

Thank you for the input. Education has fallen greatly, and it could be due to rising corporate greed, and power rather than helping humanity move forward. If you look at where the money is today, its either in extremely expensive power projects, military projects, or luxury orojects. There isnt much in the form of general civil, industrial, infrastructure, enviornmental or educational sectors, and this is where the wealth shoud probably be redistributed.

I remember growing up and learning how to do basic things, Math, English, Health, History, Science, Physics, etc. They don't really teach money management, cooking, or even physical fitness as much as they used to, these things are essential to survival, as many people can't cook, or can't manage money that well, and this contributes to creating a flourishing enviornment of poverty.

With "money for nothing" you just reminded me on Dire Straits song :) Maybe people should understand what is money and what is currency too.
