Money cannot buy happiness. Money is must for our life. But it is not the thing that necessarily brings happiness. Happiness is absolutely a psychological thing. It is the name of feeling. It means the contentment of the mind. Who is satisfied with that he gets and content with his life is really happy. Happiness cannot be purchased with money. No doubt, money has got something to do with happiness but it cannot give us happiness. So, we see, that the richest mans of our society are not happiest man. They lead life burdened with cares and pass sleepless nights. On the other hand, there are a large number of poor men who are happy and enjoy a sound sleep. The man who is honest and virtuous, though not rich, dose not suffers from anguish of the soul. His conscience does not torment him. Hence, money cannot ensure happiness. It is only moral and spiritual development that gives us happiness. But we run after money, we think that money is everything in our life.
If somebody were to ask us ‘Which do you think is more worthwhile, immediate happiness that is short-lived, or future happiness that is long lasting?’ we would all choose future long-lasting happiness. Therefore, if we are wise, we shall understand how important it is to ensure the welfare of our future lives.
There is a Chinese saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.” For centuries, the greatest thinkers have suggested the same thing: Happiness is found in helping others.

So we have to stop run after money, we should help other people to be happy. And it will be the key to success in life.
