If you look at google and if steem is useful in the future, which I am actually not actually sure about, then it could go as high as 1000 USD but the more I am on steemit, the more I am wondering about its usefulness. So, we can post our blog at steem and make money - this is actually not true. You can't make money if no one votes for you and you only have a 7 day window to make money. After that, your post is basically useless for making money. If you own your own blog, you can monetize it with ads or affiliate links but with steemit, what can you do?
yea i agree, the seven day windows is pretty narrow .. but the fact that some idiot could downvote you ?
if you leave it open for longer when do you get paid ? because you cant get paid as long as people can downvote it ?
but it IS pretty narrow, true , you make money by playing the game, by not doing your own thing, by writing what the fat tish wanna read and by begging for crumbs from the table , or you come into it with money and make money with money and automated systems ... or you have patience ... or exceptional skill in writing in which case you should probably look for a publisher or ask rawling or king to "do you" lol .... it doesnt come for free unless you come in with money ... but thats just like real life isnt it ?
it costs time and effort to make this work, if you dont its best to see it as a network with a bonus, you definitely get more than you get on facebook :)
