This is a commentary article on the following post:

Yeah, when I read this, I felt even better about buying up crypto today. Per the IMF's own June 19th report on investing in FinTech for cross-border payment processing, security, privacy and more efficient markets (http://www.imf.org/en/Publications/Staff-Discussion-Notes/Issues/2017/06/16/Fintech-and-Financial-Services-Initial-Considerations-44985) the attitude of the International Monetary Fund appears to have went with the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude.

Per the article, "According to the IMF staff team responsible for the note, including prominent economists such as Dong He, Ross Leckow, and Vikram Haksar, "rapid advances in digital technology are transforming the financial services landscape." These members of the IMF feel that such transformations generate new opportunities for consumers as well as service providers and regulators. The ultimate message of the report seems to be one of support for cryptocurrencies, as it outlines some of the ways that the fintech industry might be able to provide solutions for consumers related to trust, security, financial services, and privacy in this area."

Regardless of how you view the IMF, recognizing that they still do have power, and part of the transitioning out of the old and into the new system could very well be into cryptos, I am doubling down out of other assets and am currently holding my top ten positions in companies that have legs in the space:

  1. Bitcoin (long data sets going out years on this one)
  2. Ethereum (great smart contracts, should fall a bit more before the return)
  3. Litecoin (Lightning network)
  4. Monero (extreme privacy)
  5. Stratis (Breeze Wallet on its way)
  6. Antshares (Chinese Ethereum)
  7. Digibyte (active team and fast and private transactions)
  8. WeTrust (ROSCA project coming out soon)
  9. Factom (Japanese mortgage industry game changer)
  10. Basic Attention Token (BAT)- Great team, product, at all time lows

Runner up: Expanse (active team, fast and efficient ethereum alternative)

Great news for the cryptos. Very interesting :)

This is definitely a game changer

That is crazy, just read a article from jrcornel. Paints 2 pictures if the governments get involved. interesting

Nothing about XRP from USBN bank??

Are you writing an article about it? You should.

They want in the game and control

Probably, then we create new cryptos and sell theirs at the peak :)

Good idea...it will interesting to see how they try snd manipulate the market
