This post we will talk about what you need before you start trading.
1 First of all is "your mind"
The previous post we talk about Style you want to choose. You need to ask yourself first what type of trader you CAN be.
But the most important of all "can you calm yourself down if your fund gets 40% devalued?"
If you can't, walk away, you are not fit to be a crypto trader.
You need to understand that crypto market opens 24/7. The price is swinging all the time. It's the nature of it. When it can jump up rapidly, it also can decline even faster. But believe it or not, at the end, it will recover itself.
This is BCH price in 3month. You see how swing it can be.
There will be incidence, rumor, news that contribute to decrease the price from time to time. Sometimes it sounds very serious. Sometimes the effect last quite long. All you should do is consider the factor if it's major or small threat and what you should react with it.
For example
Closing down exchange in China
When China gov decided to close down all the exchanges in their country, the market went rapidly down. Every single coin price dived, nobody knows where the bottom was. (I think that's the most intense of all. Because you DON't KNOW how low or how long it's gonna be)
In this kind of situation you can either sell your coins and wait for the market settle or hold them and just wait till it pass.
It's easier to talk more than to do when each and everyday you see the price constantly goes down.
By the time you lose hope for it to bounce up in near time, the price is too low for you to let go (which probably better. Some people lose their hope and sell at the very bottom lost more than 50% of their money)
So..what I want you to prepare is to make decision real quick. If you think the situation is going to take sometime, get out immediately, don't wait for a week to see the result. Or tell yourself no matter what happen, HOLD!
Pros always said "buy dip and HOLD"
Meaning if the price dip and you can't get out in time keep holding your coins and buy some more in cheap price. Soon enough it will recover.
2 Computer and mobile
Errr...right everyone has computer AND mobile.
What I'll recommend is if you are using PC you should use Linux. If not then Mac is the second choice.
I do not recommend Windows.
You need to know your money has no paper. No documents. It's all in digital. Which can be hacked. The easiest way to hack is personal computer, not exchange. Windows is very vulnerable.
Mobile
I recommend you to have 2 factor authentication enable in every exchange you are using. So it's more secure. We will talk about this later when we talk about how to set up the account in exchange.
Normally I don't trade using mobile alone. Since we need to read all the graphs so mobile is just to check the price which will require apps. But to trade we normally use computer.
3 exchange (we will talk about how to actually set up account later on)
Exchange is the market to sell and buy coins. There are many exchanges which trade different coins. the popular coins like BTC BCH LTC ETH can be found in almoner every exchange. But small coins are depend. So normally we will register in several exchanges to maximum our choices.
To choose the exchange you should read the review. Since they are holding YOUR money. You need to be careful. If you go for small and unreliable exchange, they may get hacked and you will lose your money.
The popular exchange are Bittrex, Bitfinex, Binance etc.
If you are not USD holder you will need to find your local exchange which the coin price will be higher than in USD market.
I'm from Thailand, I can't tell for other country but in mine we haven't got many exchanges. What I'm using is BX which quite reliable but the trading price is insanely high most of the time.
Once you have set up account in your local exchange, you can deposit your money through the bank and buy coins. Focus on transfer coins to major exchanges. We will talk about this later.
So for the exchange, you should have accounts in different major exchanges. And if you don't have USD then you need the local exchange to start buying coins.
4 Wallet
Wallet is for store money (obviously) in this case digital money.
Why we need wallet?
When you trade in exchange your money is in the exchange. Does it safe? Well who knows? If it gets hacked. If the company just shut it down. Your money will be no where to be found.
So if you are storing your coins. Don't wanna trade in near time. Or if the situation is unclear. You should take money out of the exchange and store in wallet.
Wallet has two types
Hardware or software.
There are hardwares that made to except popular currencies like BTC BCH ETH .. You can google and buy one. This is the safest way to store your coins
It normally looks like flash drive. When you first unbox and set it up it will give you what's called SEED. It is words, many simple words. It will only give you once. Make sure to WRITE IT DOWN. DO NOT take photo. DO NOT send it through any emails, chats etc. and DO NOT store it online.
Because it's the only way to recover your money. The people who has this seed can buy a new device and use the seed to get to your account. On the other hand if you lose your hardware, no need to worry (it has other password protection, if the people who has it doesn't know your password they won't be able to access the account) you can go buy a new one and use the seed to recover it.
For the coins that not supported in any hardware wallet, you can find out if they develop software wallet or not. You can check it out from this link.

When you browse each coin (click the coin's name), it will show the link of the official website.
Then when you access the web, if there is any wallet, it will show in "Download" or "wallet" section.
Choose your OS then download it.
Please note that some of them need to download the blocks to be ready to use as wallet. Blocks are say it's history of every transaction of the coin. So it's bound to be large and slow. If your internet speed is not that fast, you should prepare the wallet BEFORE you need it.
And again, most of wallets have seeds. So you will end up having many seeds. Pls keep them safe. Your money is in there.

แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดก่อนอื่นเลยคือถามตัวเองก่อนว่า "คุณคิดว่าคุณจะรับได้ไหมหากเหรียญที่คุณถืออยู่ราคาตกไปเกิน 40%"
ถ้าคุณทำใจไม่ได้ คุณก็ไม่ควรเล่น เพราะคุณไม่เหมาะจะเล่น และถึงตอนนี้คุณจะจิตตกและขายมันในที่สุด
ก่อนอื่นคุณต้องเข้าใจว่าตลาดเงินคริปโตเปิด 24 ชม.ไม่มีวันหยุด ราคามันเหวี่ยงเร็วมาก บางทีอาจตกเกินครึ่งภายในชั่วโมงเดียว (หรืออาจขึ้นเกิน 50% ภายในชั่วโมงเดียวเช่นกัน) แต่เชื่อหรือไม่ ไม่ว่ามันจะตกยังไงก็แล้วแต่ แต่ราคามันจะกลับมา
คือคือราคา BCH ภายใน 3 เดือน คุณจะเห็นว่ามันเหวี่ยงขนาดไหน

เมื่อครั้งที่จีนประกาศปิด exchange
ราคาทั้งตลาดตกอย่างรวดเร็ว ไม่มีใครรู้ว่ามันจะหยุดเมื่อไหร่ หรือตกมากแค่ไหน เราว่าสิ่งที่แย่ที่สุดคือเราไม่รู้เลยว่ามันจะแย่แค่ไหน มันถึงน่าวิตกมาก
ในสถานกาณ์แบบนี้สิ่งที่ทำได้มีแค่ ขายแล้วรอให้ตลาดทรงตัวและค่อยซื้อคืน หรือถือทน ไม่สนใจอะไร
พูดง่ายทำยากมาก เมื่อเวลาที่คุณเห็นราคาตกลงทุกวันๆโดยไม่มีท่าทีว่าจะขึ้น และเมื่อวันนึงที่คุณเริ่มรู้ตัวว่ามันจะไม่ขึ้นในเร็ววัน ตอนนั้นราคามันก็จมเหวมากเกินกว่าที่คุณจะทำใจขายมันได้ (ซึ่งจริงๆดีนะ เพราะคนจำนวนไม่น้อยที่มาตัดใจขาย ณ.จุดต่ำสุดขาดทุนเกินครึ่งก็มี)
ดังนั้น หากคุณตั้งใจจะอยู่ในวงการนี้ ตัดสินใจให้เร็ว อย่ารอนาน ถ้าขายไม่ทัน จงถือไว้
พวกโปรทั้งหลายมักพูดว่าเวลาตลาดตกให้ซื้อ "Buy dip" จะได้ซื้อของถูก เดี๋ยวราคามันก็กลับมา
2 คอมและมือถือ
คนส่วนใหญ่มีทั้งคอมและมือถือ
แต่หากคุณต้องการใช้ PC เราขอแนะนำให้ใช้ระบบ linux หรือไม่ให้ใช้ Mac เราไม่แนะนำให้ใช้ Windows
สิ่งที่คุณต้องเข้าใจก็คือธุรกรรมทั้งหมดของคุณเป็นรูปแบบดิจดตอล ไม่มีเอกสารยืนยัน เงินสามารถหายไปอย่างไร้ร่องรอยตามคืนจากใครไม่ได้หากถูกแฮก และสิ่งที่แฮกง่ายที่สุดคือคอม PC windows นี่แหละ
มือถือ
เราขอแนะนำให้เปิด 2 factor authentication ในทุก exchange ที่คุณใช้เพื่อความปลอดภัยมากยิ่งขึ้น เราจะพุดถึงมันทีหลังในการ setup account ใน exchange
ปกติเราเทรดจากคอม เพราะต้องดูกราฟเยอะก่อนตัดสินใจ มันดูจากหน้าจอมือถือยากมาก แต่จะใช้มือถือในการติดตามราคา ซึ่งต้องลงแอพต่างๆ ซึ่งจะมาพูดถึงเรื่องนี้ในภายหลัง
3 exchange
exchange คือตลาด ที่เราจะซื้อขายเหรียญได้ exchange มีเยอะมาก และมีเหรียญที่ไม่เหมือนกัน หากเป็นเหรียญที่ดังอยู่แล้วเช่น BTC BCH ETH แบบนี้ปกติจะมีแทบทุก exchange แต่เหรียญเล็กๆมักมีบางที่ เราจึงควรมีมากกว่า 1 exchange
การเลือกสมัคร exchange ควรเลือกที่ๆคนส่วนมากใช้ เป็น exchange ใหญ่ๆ เพราะหากเราเปิดใน exchange เล็กบางทีระบบอาจไม่เสถียรหรืออาจโดนแฮกวึ่งแปลว่าเราจะเสียเงินทั้งหมดที่มีในนั้น
exchange ที่ดังๆได้แก่ Bittrex Bitfinex Binance เป็นต้น
ในกรณีที่ไม่ได้ใช้เงิน USD เราจำเป็นต้องสมัคร exchange ที่รับเงินประเทศเราก่อน ในไทยเราใช้ BX ซึ่งก็อยู่มานาน เสถียรพอสมควร แต่ราคาเทรดแพงกว่าตลาดเมืองนอกมาก เมื่อเราสมครแล้วเราก็เอาเงินเข้าและซื้อเหรียญได้ อยากให้โฟกัสไปที่การซื้อเพื่อนำไปเล่นในตลาดนอก เพราะราคามันถูกต้องกว่าและดูกราฟง่ายกว่า เพราะยังไงเทรนมันก็มาจากตลาดนอกไม่ใช่ในเมืองไทย ซึ่งเราจะมาพูดถึงการจัดการในเรื่องนี้ภายหลัง
สรุปสำหรับการเปิดaccount exchange นั้น ควรเปิดมากกว่า 1 ที่ โดยดูจากสกุลเหรียญที่เขามีให้หลากหลาย และเป็นที่ๆมีชื่อเสียงดี และเปิดในไทยเพื่อเอาเงินเข้าออก
4 กระเป๋าเงิน
กระเป๋าเงินมีไว้ใส่เงิน!!!
เอ่อ ไม่ใช่ อันนี้คือกระเป๋าที่เอาไว้ใส่เงินคริปโต
ทำไมต้องมีกระเป๋า
เวลาที่เราเทรดเงิน เงินเราจะอยู่ใน exchange ซึ่ง ปลอดภัยไหม อืม ก็ไม่มาก
หากบริษัทปิดหนีหรือโดนโจมตี เงินเราก็จะหายไปด้วย ดังนั้น หากเรากำลังสะสมเหรียญ จะถือนาน หรือมีมูลค่ามาก เราแนะนำให้เก็บในกระเป๋า
ซึ่งกระเป๋านั้นมีอยู่สองแบบ
แบบ hardware กับ software
เหรียญดังๆ เช่น BTC BCH ETH เหล่านี้มีคนทำกระเป๋า hardware มาขาย ซึ่งหารซื้อได้ในอินเตอร์เนต วิธีนี้ปลอดภัยที่สุด
มันจะดูเหมือนแฟลชไดรฟ เวลาที่คุณเปิดใช้งานมันครั้งแรก มันจะมีคำให้หลายสิบคำเรียกว่า seed สิ่งที่ต้องทำคือเก็บ seed นี้เอาไว้ ห้ามถ่ายรูป อย่าส่งผ่านแชท อีเมล อย่าเก็บใน cloud drive ทุกชนิด และทางที่ดีให้เก็บแบบ offline ไม่ว่าจะเป็นจดใส่กระดาษแล้วเก็บให้มิดชิด หรือจะเซฟใน flashdrive แล้วเก็บให้ดีก็ได้ เพราะ seed นี้คือตัวกู้ account ของคุณ หากคุณทำ hardware wallet หาก คุณสามารถไปซื้อใหม่แล้ว recover ด้วย seed ได้ หากใครได้ hardware wallet ของคุณไปแต่ไม่รู้ password (password จะเป็นของที่แยกต่างหากสำหรับเข้า hardware หากถูกขโมยแปลว่าเขาไม่รู้ password) เขาก็เอาเงินของคุณไปไม่ได้
สำหรับเหรียญที่ Hardware ไม่รองรับนั้น คุณสามารถตรวจสอบได้ว่าเหรียญเหล่านั้นมี wallet หรือไม่จาก

เมื่อคุณเข้าไปยังเหรียญต่างๆ จะมี link ไปที่เวปทางการของเขา ซึ่งถ้าเขามี wallet ให้ download ก็จะอยู่ในนั้น
เมื่อเข้าสู่เวปไซต์ หากเหรียญนั้นมี wallet จะถูกแสดงในหัวข้อ Download หรือ wallet จากนั้นเราก็เลือก OS ที่เราต้องการ
โปรดจำไว้ว่า wallet บางอันต้องโหลด block ทั้งหมดของมันจนครบถึงจะทำงานได้ block คือประวัติการโอนทั้งหมดของเหรียญซึ่งช้าและใหญ่มาก ดังนั้นหากอินเตอร์เนตของคุณไม่ได้เร็วมาก คุณควรทำการโหลด wallet มาเปิดก่อนที่คุณจำเป็นต้องใช้งานมันจริงๆ
และเช่นเดิม wallet ส่วนมากมี seed ดังนั้น คุณอาจต้องมี seed มากมายให้เก็บ อย่าลืมเก็บให้ดี
