Rooftops of Balinese architecture are most intriguing...
This one is made of stone and happens to be of a temple. Heads of guardians adorn the structure and I am sure offer protection against evil or bad spirits.
If you look closely at it (below) you'll see there are a mixture of stones of various shapes and sizes used in the architecture
Many of the temples and shrines aren't big in size, but rather are 'big' on details!

The way that the carved stones are stacked on top of each other is amazing! 😲 Such detail as well. You have to be a master at your craft to put together something like this.
It’s pretty amazing seeing just how design can play such a huge role, in a structure such as this one. I can’t imagine how long it must’ve taken them to build this.

You're so right, and yet you see these all over Bali... Most Balinese Hindu households have their own family temple within the house compound and each will have a similar elaborate design such as this! Same goes for places of business, and most Balinese are Hindus! Can you imagine the love, care and work put into all these... Simply amazing! :) Have a great week, my friend!!
