One of the greatest panoramic spots in Lisbon is the Panoramic of Monsanto. It's an abandoned restaurant. stands a testament to great architectural design and the party life of the 1960’s. The Panoramic Restaurant of Monsanto has now been abandoned for 10 years and is showing the decay of its disuse. The restaurant still has a style and flair that is reminiscent of the era, and a view of Lisbon that makes us wonder why the restaurant closed. The winding staircases, large viewing windows, and decor make the building still attractive even in it forlorn state of emptiness.
It is doubtful the restaurant will ever be refurbished and restored into service, but this is one abandoned place we can still imagines as a thriving destination for both residents of the area and tourists seeking an unbelievable view with dinner.
In case it's showing the decay, be prepare that police can come and order you to leave the building.
