I don't agree with this post at all, the problem was the DAO itself and not Ethereum. I see it as a strength of Bitcoin that they don't hard fork when an app or platform isn't functioning as it should. Apps and platforms will get better and better, when the Bitcoin environment is more mature, the chance for a loss will get smaller. Also creating code to make the blocks more efficient instead of just make them bigger by a fork is in my opinion a solution for a healthier grow.
